I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a masters degree in Clinical Psychology, welcoming clients locally out of Scottsdale, AZ and globally. Here's a little bit about me to give you a sense of where I come from. My parents are from Ecuador. They hired two Indian nannies to help them raise eight children.
The initial consultation is designed to learn about each other and see if we're a good fit to work together. I inquire into your presenting problems, your coping strategies, motivation to do the work, etc. You are free to ask me anything you'd like. We feel into the resonance to find whether or not we're a match for doing this work.
How does hypnosis work? It tranquilizes the frontal lobe, the analytical part of your brain, so we can access the subconscious mind and bring the nervous system back into alignment. 2. Why are so many fearful of hypnosis? Most are afraid of someone else controlling their mind. Ironically, that's exactly what's happened in our conditioning process.
Once you've decided how you'd like to pay for your sessions we move onto scheduling. Everyone pays the session forward to hold their appointment. Processing payment on any venue notifies me and I reach out to you as soon as possible to offer my availability. I recently moved my office home and screen new bees at The Lakeview Coffee House nearby.
I have withdrawn as a provider from insurance carriers. You should know this window is closing. I will honor the interim time under these conditions. I honorably discount the sessions to contractual price set by your insurance. However, I do not submit claims. Reimbursement information is provided for you on the super bill under this tab.

My daughter and I saw Gloria for about a month total. I was not happy with her services so I then asked her to refund half of the amount that I had paid for the last two that I had not received and she refused to do that. She said I had brought so much drama into her life and she was still willing to see me as a client which I found to be really obnoxious. She was almost forcing me to pay her and I'm in a dispute with PayPal now for that and also with her as well as having to cancel my bank because I want to cancel the charges with her. My initial visit with Gloria far exceeded my expectations. I was a little hesitant starting to see a new therapist again after not seeing one for several years. I was not looking forward to having to share all my personal stuff with a stranger and going through that process again. I felt my palms get so warm just like it would in a Reiki session, and I felt a pressure on my forehead. When we tried to connect with my mother I felt something happen to my left wrist. I slept quite peacefully afterwards.

I highly recommend Gloria at Rise n Shine Hypnosis and Counseling. She is a breath of fresh air and will help you feel better from your very first visit. Her experience in traditional psychotherapy combined with her intuitive/spiritual counseling is the best of both worlds. I tried hypnotherapy with her for the very first time recently and I had no idea the results would be so great! Sometimes life's curve balls are big and we need a little help and sometimes is nice to have help and validation that you're going in the right direction. I had a hypnotherapy session with Gloria via phone. I am a huge skeptic when it comes to hypnosis but this session made me a believer. I was very relaxed during the session. I needed help overcoming fear and opening my throat chakra. The next day and beyond, my fears were eased and I was able to fully and completely express myself. My experience at Rise N Shine Hypnosis with Tanya Craven was remarkable. She set up a crystal grid and used sound energy to relax me into a trance-like state, then she proceeded with a hypnotherapy session.
