Services
After Dr. Dave Engelken graduated from chiropractic college in 2008, he and a friend that he graduated with, opened a brand-new chiropractic office in a suburb of Dallas. After about two and a half years of practicing in that location, Dr. Dave and his colleague decided that they wanted to open their own practices.
Amanda was born and raised in Wichita, KS. She graduated from Wichita State University where she was a member of the Cheer Squad. After college, she began her family in Grand Rapids, MI with husband, Randy and 2 sons, Brady and Ryan. You can find her as a guest speaker and organizer at Chiropractic seminars around the country.
It's our privilege at Engelken Chiropractic & Acupuncture to offer our patients an array of health-promoting and pain-relieving services. Because we provide multiple services at one location, you can get the convenient care you need. Chiropractic focuses on the spine and joints of the body and their connection to the nervous system.

Dr. Dave's mother, who had been going to a chiropractor, encouraged her husband to go too. Though he was reluctant, Dr. Dave's father eventually agreed. The chiropractor helped my dad, and he was able to go back to work the next day. The impact of that office visit made me realize at 13 that I wanted to become a chiropractor.

When my wonderful wife Daria came home boasting about Dr. Dave's chiropractor skills, I knew right away, I had to meet him! Sure enough, she was right. Dr. Dave analyzed the xrays that were taken and put me on an adjustment plan that rendered instant relief! Combined with aggressive @ home stretching techniques I've devised over time, my back injury has finally been Put In Check! "Your the Man Dr. Dave." Being an athlete and a personal trainer for over 20 years, I have worked with around 40 chiropractors in Wichita. Dr. Dave is hands down the best over ever worked with for myself and my clients. His staffers, Erica and Amanda and the best! Their energy, manners and overall attitude is always 100%! I HIGHLY recommend this business, even if you have to drive for than 30 minutes to get there!

I was in a bad car wreck in February 2021 After being treated at a E.R several times, both times saying I was fine. Needing a second opinion I went to see Dr. Dave Engelken, he is as a certified auto Chiropractor specialists. I knew he would find out what was wrong with my back and neck. Dr. Engelken did x-rays and found two separated vertebrae in my back going in opposite directions and I also had a bad case of whiplash. He recommended a series of treatments to realign my back gently so the process would be less painful and have longer lasting results. I have been going to treatments for reconnecting

I highly recommend going to Dr Dave especially if you are pregnant. I was experiencing a lot of back pain in my second trimester. I started going to Dr Dave's and he has helped me so much. I am now 33 weeks pregnant and I feel amazing. I am able to walk normal (no pregnancy waddle) no more pain, and I feel incredible.

I was referred to Dr Dave from several family members. His staff is very friendly and efficient. I’ve never had to wait more than a minute or two for my appointments. Dr Dave explained the treatment plan, cost and follow up prior to starting treatment in detail. All of the staff here are very calming and the atmosphere in the office is very soothing. I’ve been very impressed with the cleanliness of the office as well as the very professional and friendly staff.
