Welcome to the office of Dr. Haider, a leading Pediatric Dental and Orthodontic practice in Carrollton, Texas. Superior oral health is vital for a child's development, and we're here to help every step of the way. Kidz & Teen Dental specializes in providing outstanding dental care for infants, children, teens, and children with special needs.

Our office has been specially designed to create a child-friendly environment to ensure each child a comfortable and pleasant experience. Clean the retainer by brushing with toothpaste. If you are wearing a lower fixed retainer be extra careful to brush the wire and the inside of the lower teeth. Always bring your retainer to each appointment.
Services
You will be shown the proper care of your braces when your orthodontic treatment begins. Proper cleansing of your mouth is necessary every time you eat. Teeth with braces are harder to clean, and trap food very easily. If food is left lodged on the brackets and wires, it can cause unsightly etching of the enamel on your teeth.
The administration of local anesthesia, sedation and general anesthesia is significant for the dental practice. Our expert team offers an appropriate level of sedation based on the patient's condition. Sedation helps patients to stay relaxed during dental procedures. Patients may need sedation due to sensitive gums & teeth, low pain tolerance, the anxiety of dental procedures and many other conditions.
Sudden dental pain, Knocked-out teeth (avulsed), teeth forced out of position (extruded) broken (fractured) and Injuries to the inside of the mouth include tears, puncture wounds and lacerations to the cheek, lips or tongue need immediate attention. At kidz and teen dental we accept walk-in dental emergencies and treat them as a priority.
The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with them for their comfort. School children with a lot of work to be done should be seen in the morning for the same reason.
Our office, as well as The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and The American Dental Association (ADA) all recommend establishing a "Dental Home" for your child by one year of age. Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care.

We've been seeing Dr. Haider for approximately 11 years, since my children were little. Dr. Haider is very careful and keeps the children safe at all times. I feel very comfortable knowing they're in good hands during dental procedures - cleanings, crowns, and pulling teeth out.
