I have always been drawn to the healing arts. Through childhood and into my college years, my plan was to become a medical doctor and follow in my father's footsteps, but I had a hard time accepting that medication or surgery were the ideal solutions to so many health problems.

I was excited to find Chiropractic, a healing art that integrates a wealth of information from Western and other traditional medicines to support the body's natural ability to heal and regulate itself.Chiropractic is a common sense approach to health; if you have a mechanical problem with your body, you need to apply a mechanical solution.
Don't let your work cost you! Many injuries are caused by chronic postures and poor ergonomics. Ergonomics is the science and art of seeking the best fit between people and their work. It takes into account the capabilities of the individual and seeks to ensure that their tasks, equipment, and environment suit them.

Dr. Fong is an outstanding provider. She listened to me closely, and helped me create a plan to provide immediate pain relief and help me prepare for back surgery. I'm a month out of surgery and my recovery is proceeding nicely. Thanks for the kind and thoughtful treatment, I'll be back when my recovery is complete!

I've been in chronic neck and shoulder pain since having kids. It's just gotten worse since my ergo set up is terrible at home during Covid. Came to Dr Fong for help and I've only been 3 times... and I've been pain free for a couple months now.

So grateful for her.

I'll make this real simple.

Dr Fong is really good at what she does. She is welcoming, nice and a professional. Her place is clean and kept orderly.

Scroll to bottom if you want the short version:

Now to her abilities as a chiropractor. She is the first I've been to so I can't compare to other I've had. I won't be looking for others as long as she is in business and keeps me as a patient.

I broke my ankle a few months back and it never healed quite right. I couldn't jog without stabbing pains and woke up with throbbing and soreness. Plus I have a bad back, poor

Very effective chiropractic services. Dr. Fong is the real deal! Initially, I went in for a lower back strain, but she was able to help other misalignments as well.

I've come here twice feeling really bad and messed up going in and felt the closest thing to instantly fixed otw out. Both times I could neither move my neck left or right and both times I left being able to. Felt like a miracle.

I've been going to Dr. Fong for over 7 years now and I have nothing but praise for her. I've struggled with bad posture, joint injuries, minor scoliosis, and structural instability and Dr. Fong helps me combat all of those issues with adjustments as well as prescribed ongoing exercises that are simple yet extremely effective. Her impeccable skill set and mindful, holistic approach are what make her work uniquely hers. Dr. Fong's adjustments have taught me the value of maintenance care and the results that I've gotten with her are what keep me coming back; I feel stronger, structurally

I have always wondered if chiropractic work was effective and actually good for you--it seems to offer temporary relief but then the symptoms return. Kristie has a deep knowledge of physical therapy and multiple body modalities. She not only does muscle release and re-alignment, but she offers advice on exercises and things you can do to help correct the issues. She is unusual in her wholistic and deep knowledge.

What can I say? I feel like Dr. Fong gave me a new back!

I had been struggling for years, actually since I was a teenager and I am over 40 now, with my hips and more recently had a few pretty bad episodes with my back/sciatica. Enter Dr. Fong. Not only did she give me a new back, she got my hips to re-align. This was 6 weeks ago and they are still aligned! (They have been crooked since age 16 or so.) The first time I walked in to her office, I was so scared of the so called "cracking" that I thought I would be subjected to. But an hour or so later, I walked out of her office

After putting my body through four years of collegiate ice hockey and spending the past six playing rugby, my body was hurting. I knew I needed to see a chiropractor, but I am not a big fan of being cracked. I was working out at Raise The Bar fitness, where Kristie's office is located, and would see her work with her patients. It seemed like a different approach than chiropractors I had been to in the past, so I scheduled an appointment.

Kristie was great. She put me through a bunch of strength tests and literally dug around to find the problem. We focused on a treatment plan to help

Kristie is great at what she does, and her work produces instant results! I'm a firefighter and weekend warrior. So unfortunately, I get my fair shares of injuries. I've had previous, ongoing neck and back problems and she was able to relieve those areas of pain. More recently, I severely sprained my ankle at work. She ran a few tests and was able to tell that certain muscles were deactivated, and others were getting overworked because they were trying to compensate. I also strained my hip flexor in softball, and was unable to run full speed for over a week. After seeing Kristie

8 months of caring for a baby who needs to be constantly held/rocked/walked/bounced and my back was/is shot. I had never been to a chiropractor before and honestly, I've been a bit skeptical of the field, but I was desperate for anything that would help with the pain. Found Dr. Fong here and chose her based on her reviews and proximity to my home and I'm so glad I did! Dr. Fong is AWESOME.

On my first visit, I had to bring the little one for lack of a babysitter and she graciously handled his fussiness while thoughtfully assessing my pain. She immediately pinpointed a few things

AMAZING!!! I went to Dr. Fong shortly after moving to the Sunset as my other chiaropractor was on Van Ness Avenue. But she is more than just a chiropractor who simply adjust bones. She works in a deep tissue fashion on sore muscles that are in fact pulling the bones apart! This is amazing! You go in and tell the Dr. where you are hurting, and she works on your sore muscles first to ensure they are more engaged and not compensating, then adjust whatever bones needs adjusting, all on a full body level. It's as if she is giving you a full body massage AND an adjustment in one! And she is

Dr. Kristie Fong is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Words cannot even describe!
She puts all the other D.C.s to shame!!

She doesn't just crack your back/neck and call it a day. As a matter of fact, she doesn't "adjust" by "cracking".

She is attentive to your injury/condition and provides adjustments/treatments that work!!

If you're skeptical of chiropractors... she will destruct your skepticism!
If you're weary that you'll be healed... you'll walk out amazed!
If you're dealing with a condition that still is not treated... she will heal you!

Your health

I first met Kristie when I was passing through Atlanta a few years back. I'd broken my foot in NY and it was taking forever to heal, even though I'd hooked up with one of the world's best physical therapy joints, the place the New York City Ballet uses.

The break had kept me from heading home to my fabulous mountain paradise in Arizona, where I need to be quite mobile just to walk around my house, and it was some time before I could even drive correctly. Finally on my way back, but still pretty hobbly, I stopped to visit in Atlanta for a while -- a while that turned into 6 months

Dr Kristie has the touch! When I last saw her for an exam she pointed out how my muscles from one area were compensating for the inactivity of other muscle groups and adjusted me accordingly. I can honestly say that those muscles which were hurting then, feel great today. Thanks again!

It is bittersweet to say that today was my last appointment with Kristie. The sweet is only because I finally get to sleep in again, but I will miss seeing her every week. I started seeing Kristie after a car accident and have told her I did not want ANY cracking of the joints whatsoever and she then informed me of many other chiropractic methods that would work. She taught me a lot about muscles, joints, bones, etc (I forgot all the medical terms already.) Kristie worked on me 2x a week for the last 3.5 months and to both of our surprise, I recovered sooner than we both thought. She works quick

As a runner and avid weightlifter I've dealt with a fair number of injuries over the years. Fortunately none of which have required serious medical intervention. Last summer I was certain that streak would end after injuring my knee during a round of heavy squats. Never had I dealt with an injury that was so persistant. Forget about lifting. Walking more than a mile or two would agrivate it and leave me limping around for the next few days, and this was months after the injury occured.

Going into my visit with Dr. Fong I had already assumed the worst, torn mesicus and possilbly surgery.

My first experience with Dr.Kristie Fong was an eye opener. I am a competitive grappler (Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) so my body is consistently pushed to the limit and chronically sore. I have had some shoulder injuries in the past and thought that they were all but healed. Dr. Fong put me through a series of examinations to test the strength of my shoulders, and the results were not great. After 10 minutes of working with Kristie, my shoulders felt better, and upon retesting them, they were much stronger! Kristie knows her stuff and her techniques give fast, and effective results.

While on crutches, I suffered a fall which damaged my neck/shoulders & upper back. I was referred by my physician to see Dr. Fong before approaching physical therapy for the stiffness, pain, tension and contortion. In essence, my body was out of whack!!! :)
With several treatment sessions and after care exercises, I am on my way to reconfiguring my body back to the position it was before my fall. Dr, Fong listens to your body's tales and assesses the information to adjust your body to achieve the lifestyle you had before gaining the injury that hindered you. I highly recommend Dr. Fong

Being a researcher at UCSF, much of my time at work is spent in front of a computer where I sometimes forget to utilize proper ergonomics. When I started to develop severe shoulder and neck pain as a result of this, I began looking for an honest and effective chiropractor. Having visited several different chiropractors around San Francisco and not being happy with any one of them, I was recommended by a friend to see Dr. Kristie Fong, a chiropractor who was conveniently located right down my work place on Judah St. My first visit with her was nothing short of amazing.
