RATING ON LOOKS ONLY! Yes! I am strange. I don't like seafood, BUT the parking lot was full and everyone looked happy. If you are a parent or a family in Destin, Florida looking for a one of a kind location to sightsee. Fudpucker's is it! They have live Alligators, you can feed. See or make a meal out of the gators. It is set up like an Alligator aquarium/museum. Free to enter, but cost to feed gators. I will state gators seemed full. They weren't too excited about the food.

They have a children's playground situated above a gator pit. You can draw on the walls. I mean, food there is useless for a vegetarian so I'm not commenting on that but the drinks were good, wait was excessive for so few people being there, but did I mention the children's playground above a gator pit?

We usually end up here and I'm not sure why. This place is so touristy and feels exceptionally dirty with the writing all over the walls and pretty much everything else. The outside bars are never open and the place just feels like a huge tourist trap. The alligator feeding is ok I guess, but they've got so many of them packed in there they look miserable. The food is just ok, I don't think the price justifies it. Our server was very spot on and recommended a lot of things for us that was pretty tasty. In the end I go with a burger because this place in my opinion is just not worth

This place is gross! Atmosphere is weird and sad. Gators look half dead. Went here with my wife and ordered the alligator tail, gumbo and blackened shrimp. The shrimp was good but you can't really mess that up. However the gumbo was gross and cold and the gator was chunky and fatty...
Also I know the there signs say they don't use the gators they have on display as food, but man...somebody is lying.

The wait was close to two hours to be seated and that’s during the off season. We were able to look at the alligators and play in the arcade while we waited so it wasn’t too much time wasted. The food we… ordered was good, but this place is NOT ALLERGY FRIENDLY!! If you have severe food allergies just don’t eat here. They cook EVERYTHING in the same oil. We just left and the burgers were horrible. My teen age son Wouldn’t finish his burger. He said it was too crispy/over cooked. . My daughter wasn’t a fan of these burgers either. I have to add that these two eat burgers at every restaurant we visit. I did like my shrimp. But for $88 bucks- we wouldn’t spend the money again.

Just visited Fudpuckers for the first time on a family vacation. The atmosphere was very fun and unique. The food was very good and came in huge portions. Our server, Jacob, was very kind and sociable. He… recommended some very tasty dishes for us which was very helpful. The gift shop also had plenty to choose from; a lot of fun shirts to choose from! Fudpuckers was an overall very good experience!

The have 150ish gators and a free show 3 times a day. Easy parking. You can also buy gator food for $5 to feed them yourself, or take a picture with a baby gator (mouth taped shut) for $15. They also have some exhibits that are cool. All in all, a good 30 min diversion. You can even make it free if you don't feed the gator or take the picture.
I would say of the paid options, the picture is more worth it, since you get to touch the gator and get a souvenir. The feed they sell you is dry kibble, and the gators aren&apos

We went to the restaurant (menu was more expensive then I'd like..) as a party of 6 +2 kiddos and got in right away on a Sunday. Overall, great staff and food. Again, just a bit over priced.
Bar was fun, living and quick service!! Bar tenders were amazing with making drinks. They were also great to strike up a conversation.
We felt very comfortable and welcome. We spent about 2.5 hours total there with dinner, activities, and stopping at the bar.

As me and the Mrs was driving on the way to the hotel, we noticed this spot, and of course the whole live gator theme caught her eye, so of course we just had to stop, so we could satisfy her craving of seeing live alligators. Definitely wasn't my favorite thing to do, being a city boy and all, I wanna keep my distance from wild life PERIOD!

Hostesses at the front aren't friendly. Clearly didn't want anyone else to check-in since it was a busy crowd. I understand the job is tough being in a tourist destination, but a simple "Hi, how are you?" Would've been nice.
The bartender was super sweet and made a drink within a few minutes. We loved seeing the gators, and the guy selling gator bait was awesome. We loved Gator beach and the alligator hatchlings! We waited a little over an hr to be seated and happen to come on a day where their ac was out so it was pretty hot. Our waitress wasn't the friendliest. The burger was okay but the Mac and cheese tasted like microwaved Mac and cheese, didn't taste homemade. My daughter did like her cheese pizza that came with 1 slice of an orange. Pretty cool little tourist trap with literally hundreds of gators. You can feed and hold live gators which is an absolute must when visiting Florida. The food is good but very pricey. It was awesome seeing how high the alligators can jump out of the water during the alligator show. This is a very popular place and has been very crowded whenever I've been there. It's definitely worth the trip down to check it out.

For families that have children on the spectrum, you may want to pass. The noise level, general chaos of excessive amounts of people in a confined space, and heavy handed visual stimulation might be too overwhelming. We left after 10 minutes. Giving it 3 stars because the rest of our party that stayed enjoyed their food (super overpriced) and the experience. They also said their servers were amazing.
Regarding the gators- It's a Florida tourist attraction, but it's just sad seeing the gators in such an unnatural habit in such dirty, stinky water.
