At Clancy's Cantina, in the heart of the vibrant Flagler Avenue district of New Smyrna Beach, our family serves fresh, authentic Tex-Mex - just as we have for three generations. After more than 30 years in Florida, coastal flavors now blend with the rich, rustic dishes of our south Texas roots. Sizzling skirt steak fajitas perfectly juxtapose ahi poke tacos served with shredded cabbage and fresh sliced avocado.
We take as much pride in our food - house-made salsa from a family recipe, guacamole from fresh Hass avocados, fresh-made, vegan, and gluten-free enchilada sauce, verde sauce, black beans, pinto beans, and rice - as we do in our warm, friendly service. Shredded chicked wrapped in corn tortillas, deep fried and served with guacomole, pico de gallo, lettuce, sour cream and parmesan cheese.

My first experience here involved standing at the bar trying to order drinks while the bar tender walked past repeatedly with no acknowledgement for well over 12 minutes. Perhaps it was because it was the night of the Christmas parade and I don’t know their policies but it seems like he could have looked at me and said so. It was so blatant that I wasn’t being served that patrons on each side of me commented and made excuses about how they are usually attentive. Maybe my bad who knows. Best tacos we have ever had. GROUND BEEF was ground up prefect and the seasoning was spot on. Very clean and well kept. As for the staff, 5 stars to the cook that kept running food, chips, etc out and getting sauces for tables. The female servers seem to be spot on as well. As for our server, he was a young man, and unfortunately he just didn't make the cut, he charged us for something we asked for but never got, he never refilled our drinks, never asked how our food was, and I had to find another waitstaff to find him to get our bill. Maybe just needs more training. Overall we love the vibe and

Our first visit, and we will definitely be back! A great Tex-Mex with a beach theme and chilled vibes. We visited on a Tuesday night and got to hear live music that seemed to include several customer requests. The atmosphere was very enjoyable and their staff very attentive. Justin was our server and we went with his recommendations being first timers. The pork and beef chimichangas were absolutely delicious. The salsa that accompanied their chips was also very pleasant, freshly made and their guacamole was also fresh and tasty. The restaurant was very clean, we always saw the bus boy checking

We love! love! love! Clancy's Cantina. The jalapeño poppers are amazing. We have never had a bad meal or bad service at this restaurant. Rachel is an fantastic server. She has a fantastic personality, always positive and bubbly. She never forgets a face. Thank you to Clancy's and their staff for keeping it positive and fun through the tough times.

Prices were high. Food less than authentic. I am from California and know real
Mexican food. This was less than desirable. We got the beef soft tacos and grilled chicken tacos. Cheese dip. Rice and beans. The rice is straight out of a microwave and taste horrible. The rice has an after taste. Avoid it. The beans are a slab thrown on your plate. The tacos were the only things ok. Order the grilled chicken a la carte if you even go here. I just wouldn’t ever go here again to be honest. Oh the water with a slice of lemon was worth my money. Food was just horrible. Our server, she was nice tho.
