Dr. Mark Ashy has always felt a special connection to his hometown in Orlando, Florida, where he first discovered his interests in math, science, and working with people. He attended Orlando West Orange High School, and with a Valencia scholarship he accomplished a pre-med undergraduate degree in Nutritional Science from the University of Florida.

Setting up the appointment itself was easy. The ladies on the phone were very pleasant and helpful. I had a visual assessment and xray's completed by the dental assistant (who's name I cannot remember and feel bad because she was a sweetheart). After a few minutes of going over the xray's he gave me a treatment plan and options.

This place is awesome.. every hygienist I have seen is great and the front office team is helpful and patient with my hectic scheduling and sometimes last minute cancellations. I just had my first crown with them. Previous dentist I saw I could feel the needle to numb me on every filling or crown.. lost temporary crown twice with two separate crowns they did while I took pain killers 5 times a day.
Not here.. never felt how they actually numbed the area.. never saw a needle.. kept the numbing to just the affected area, equipment seemed modern and procedure was better and easier than ever.

I have been with Dr. Ashy since their office opened...back in 2004'ish. My daughters have grown up with him, and they actually used to remind me that it was time to go to the dentist! They love him and his office staff! They were so great with them when they were young and have helped them know the importance of good dental hygiene :-)

I had been going to Elite Dentistry for years and while I found their care to be acceptable, their billing practice was not. Update: they're still awesome! I'm still a patient.
I've been a patient with Dr Ashy for just over a year. He and the staff are awesome. There's never any wait for my appointment and they are the epitome of gentle dentistry. They offer headphones to diminish the sounds of the work, their seats are extra wide and comfortable and they have televisions at each seat with relaxing photos or a station of your choice. Oh--

Wow, I've been coming to this Dentist I think 2 1/2 years. I requested a Saturday appointment for my daugther, I was told no, not available not even let me see if there is anything we can do. After distancing myself from dental visits the past few years due to extremely negligent work, I decided it was time to go. I had a personal recommendation to see Dr Ashy. They were able to squeeze me in due to a bit of an emergency and I can't say I'm disappointed.

I just got a filling here a few hours ago. It was my first filling ever so I was a little nervous! The people at the front desk are very pleasant. The lady who took me back was very personable and we talked about our summer plans while she got everything set up. She gave me head phones to put on and listen to pandora while they were doing my filling. For children.. They have a tv above the comfy leather chairs where they will put on movies to distract your child during their dental work. The dentist numbed me up good... I didn't feel a thing the entire time. Great dentist. Dr. Chard does great work. He takes good care that you are comfortable and sufficiently numb when he does work. Very friendly. He also is very perceptive and isn't afraid to refer work out to an endodontist. I have had dentists in the past that try to do all the work themselves, only to botch it. He was out sick, but rescheduled me on a Saturday to make up for it, which was a great gesture.
Hygienists are hit or miss with chairside manner, but maybe I caught one on a bad day.

His office is a nice, hometown dentist office. Dr. Ashy's office is modern and friendly. He takes his time with patients, and wants them to feel comfortable.
