Satsang is a Sanskrit term derived from two roots: sat meaning "true'"and sangha meaning community, company or association. It can be translated as "associating with good people" or simply "being in the company of truth, " and refers to the act of gathering with like-minded, uplifting people, especially those on a spiritual path.

At Satsang Sports Massage we specialize in Myofascial Release, an advanced technique of massage therapy that focuses on where your body is stuck. Posture is not how you hold your body, but rather how your body holds itself. By separating muscles that have become bound together, your body naturally returns to homeostasis.
Services
Myofascial (my-o-FASH-e-ul) release is a manual therapy technique that falls under the category of massage therapy. Most massage therapists receive a week or two of myofascial release training in massage school. This is meant to be an introduction, but unfortunately it allows them to say that they perform myofascial release.
If you are looking for a full body maintenance massage we recommend at least 90 minutes. A 60 minute full body massage is possible, but it is rushed and doesn't leave enough time to focus on your trouble areas. After a few sessions we can then move on to other areas that bother you, or a full body, maintenance massage.
Our therapists meet stringent standards of experience and knowledge of the human body, and specifically Myofascial Release. Body work is my life. Postural imbalances, sports injuries and maintenance, athletic performance and injury prevention, post-surgery rehabilitation, or just stubborn pain that you can't quite figure out, I can help.

Sean is fantastic! I learn a lot about what's underneath my ailments and time on the table is transformative. I've had hip, shoulder, neck, feet, leg, and knee work done. Not every fascial massage is a walk in the park, so speak up and hopefully it will be over soon. Truly changed my body functionality and gave me better range of motion without pain.

A wonderful experience from beginning to end. Booking could not be easier and finding the practice was also a breeze. The facility has a great COVID policy overall which also helps making the visit more comfortable. The professionalism and knowledge of the team are massively evident in their practice. Spencer is a phenomenal therapist and has given me a new lease on life!

My massage was amazing! Relaxing and productive at the same time! Hard to find both! Regan was fantastic, he knew exactly what I needed for the massage. Looking forward to my next appointment.

First visit to Satsang Sports Massage and Sean Fox. I was seeking pain relief and interested in Myofascial Release. Sean is clearly highly skilled and intuitive. Although breaking adhesions was quite painful at times, the result was incredible.....cant remember not feeling hip and back pain but after a session with Sean, I have total relief of pain and increased flexibility. Truly a pleasure to have found a therapist who is so dedicated to mastering his craft and gift.

I have struggled with shoulder and back pain for 6+ months. I would see my chiropractor every month or so who would struggle to get my popped ribs back in place due to the muscles in my back/shoulder just being so tight. Vicious cycle I was in. I was having trouble sleeping and during the day my right shoulder muscles just refused to relax.
I needed to wait a month for my appointment with Sean, but now I am so glad I did. I booked 90 minutes with him and he spent the whole time focused on my ribs, shoulders and neck. He discovered two popped ribs on my sternum and worked diligently and patiently

I have been struggling for 8 months with trigger points in my chest. I have gone to massage therapists, chiropractor, dry needling, trigger point injections. Small differences but nothing spectacular.
From the start, the vibe I felt was calming and reassuring. Sean has a intuitive sense of the body and what to do to relieve it in a way I have never experienced. I knew immediately I was in the right place. So far it only has been one session and I can't say the issue has completely resolved but I felt more progress with an hour with him, then anything else I have tried. Sean is quite the rarity

Such a great experience. I was shocked at how Sean found the spots he did and helped to relieve some of the pain I've been experiencing. He found trigger points and knots on me that I didn't even know were there! I'll definitely go back, and hope to send people I love and care about to him as well. Highly recommend. Highly.

Sean is amazing--by far the best massage therapist I've ever experienced. I've been suffering from a back injury for more than a year and he is the only person that has been able to provide me with any relief. He is professional and incredibly knowledgeable about the science of massage therapy.
