Jade Restaurant

Was the first place I found open in the area so I decided to try it. Just wasn't all that great and didn't taste as good as the usual place. Even without finding anything else open I wouldn't bother eating here again but it didn't poison us or make us sick so still good enough to eat if you're really desperate for Chinese.

We've ordered food from Jade for thirty years. Last week or order had roaches in it. Lots of little live roaches. They came out of the lo mein. We very nicely called them about this and they said it wasn't their problem and that they take no responsibility. This kind of filth is disgusting, as is Jade's attitude. So tomorrow, it's a call to the Nassau County Department of Health. Order, and enjoy -- if you like roaches.

They got my order wrong. The wonton soup looked old. The noodles were falling apart and the broth was greasy and dark brown. Not what i am accustomed to. The chicken wings were over fried

We ordered delivery from this place and will never order again. They have the worst Chinese food ever. It was a waste of $50 as the food doesn't even taste like chicken and it seems like they use old grease to cook their food and or never wash the pans. Unfortunately, I was not home when they delivery came and was not able to call them until three hours later only for the manager Steve to tell me too bad you call to late. I asked to speak to the owner and he told me that he doesn't know when the owner is going to be in and he comes and goes. I left my number let's see if he calls back!

The have been great over the last 3-4 years that I have been calling. The food is of good quality, and find this to be one of the better places in town.
