Daniel T. Sawers is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. His more than 35 year legal career was focused on representing injured workers. He is a co-founding partner of Sawers and Sackel and currently serves in an of counsel role.

Roslyn Sireci Sackel is a graduate of Duquesne University and the Pace University School of Law. She has practiced law since 1992, focused her practice on workers' compensation since 1996, and co-founded the Sawers & Sackel law firm.
Roslyn is the managing partner of the firm and is committed to continuing the shared vision Dan Sawers and she had of creating a law firm that is dedicated exclusively to the representation of hard-working Western New Yorkers who are injured on the job.

Scott J. Bottoni is a graduate of Saint Bonaventure University. He practiced before the New York State Workers' Compensation Board for 31 years and recently retired from formal, active practice in August of 2019. Scott continues to serve in a legal and administrative role for Sawers and Sackel.
His far reaching background into all aspects of the law and the practice, from both a defense and claimant's perspective, provides an ongoing, invaluable tool to the firm in accomplishing their daily mission of providing hard working Western New Yorkers with a knowledgeable and skillful workers' compensation legal team.

Julie A. Laczkowski is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio and Pace University School of Law. She has worked in the workers' compensation field for three years. Sawers and Sackel was very helpful and worth while. They always returned my phone calls, and answered my questions. My case was drawn out by the insurance co. Glad I had them on my side! Dealing with the insurance is a pain in the butt. Get an attorney for workman's comp, it's worth it I would suggest Sawyers and Sackel to anyone.

My husband and I've have had nothing but an awful experience dealing with this firm for the past 10 years. They do not tell you when important details regarding your case change and after this long period of time we have found that the only way to get them to follow up on anything is to continually try contacting them. As we were told that we were almost done with this fiasco and all that was needed was the insurance company to draft a contract we waited for months in which no other communication was sent.
