Mint Dental Works provides top-tier family dental services to residents of Houston and the surrounding communities. Our dental team apply their skills and experience to deliver personalized care for every member of your family.
A composite (tooth colored) filling is used to repair a tooth that is affected by decay, cracks, fractures, etc. The decayed or affected portion of the tooth will be removed and then filled with a composite filling. As with most dental restorations, composite fillings are not permanent and may someday have to be replaced.
A dental bridge is a fixed (non-removable) appliance and is an excellent way to replace missing teeth. There are several types of bridges. You and your dentist will discuss the best options for your particular case. The "traditional bridge" is the most popular type and is usually made of porcelain fused to metal.
Most dentistry looks like dentistry. Our goal is to provide dentistry that is undetectable. We replace existing dental crowns and fillings with restorations that look and feel like your natural teeth. Where damage to a person's teeth is extreme, and apparently beyond repair, we can use porcelain or porcelain "pasted on gold" crowns to make the smile appear "as new".

6 stars! I cannot rave enough about Mint Dental Works. I needed a second opinion on some dental work and Dr Zarrabi was highly recommended. It took me one appointment with him and his staff to realize my previous "high-end" dentist in River Oaks was no longer going to work for me.

I went in for a new patient consultation/ dental cleaning and Dr. Zarrabi and his staff were nothing but welcoming and knowledgeable. The office was very clean and the equipment was top notch. They walked me through the appointment step by step and explained everything along the way. I definitely plan on making Mint Dental Works my long term dentist for the foreseeable future.

I have been going here for four years now and absolutely love it! The staff is friendly and good about communicating appointment details with me. Dr Zarrabi gets to know you and is thorough during every visit. My dental assistant is Haley is she always talks to me the whole time and is very personable. The office is always clean and I never have to wait when I arrive. The staff here and the way they run their business makes me look forward to going to my dental appointments. I loved the staff. I was so disappointed and angry when they charged my husband $35.00 for a missed appointment. We had canceled the appointment! I had just spent a great deal of $$$$ with them and was extremely patient over a mess that occurred with a crown.
They not only charged him $35.00 when he argued the charge, the wife sent it to a collection agency! Good doc but horrible business practice.

The dentist is very knowledgeable and detailed- he goes over everything with the patient, answers every question and is very up to date with the newest advancements in dentistry. They are very customer oriented and the dental hygienist did a great job with cleaning, one of the most relaxed I had.
Minus for the x-rays - that machine is so uncomfortable in your mouth that I had discomfort on top of my mouth for days after - please consider getting another X-ray machine- it also blurred the pictures if you move so the torture lasts even longer...

Honestly the best dentist I have ever been to. Dr. Zarrabi is so helpful and he really takes the time to make sure you understand what's going on with your teeth and breaks it down bit by bit. He showed me all of the photos they took of my teeth and literally went from tooth to tooth explaining what he was seeing, what stood out to him, and why. I really appreciated that because many doctors do not really take that time and effort to make sure their patients fully understand their evaluations. Like a lot of people, the dentist office is not my favorite place to be.. I have had a lot of fillings done here, and my experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. You can really tell that Dr. Zarrabi takes a lot of pride in his craft. Mint Dental works is great! The office is beautiful, clean, and modern. There is also a variety of beverages provided in the waiting room. Dr. Zarrabi was very knowledgeable. He gave a throughout exam and provided detailed information on what was best for my mouth health. I felt that he was there to listen to my concerns and answer any questions. When I moved to Houston three years ago, I was so nervous about finding a new dentist. I found Mint Dental Works on Yelp and I have been so impressed by Dr. Zarrabi and his team. The entire staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and always willing to address any dental concerns. I have a lot of sensitivity issues and the hygienists are always gentle and strive to make sure my cleanings are as comfortable, as possible. The office is very welcoming and there is even a refrigerator with complimentary drinks. If you need a new dentist, go see Dr. Zarrabi, you will not be disappointed.

5 stars for Mint Dental Works. I was referred by my fellow neighbors in Rice Military and am very happy with my decision. Everyone was genuinely nice and made me feel super comfortable. Very happy with my choice to come to this office. On my initial visit they were very friendly, detailed, and informative about what they were looking at and what the options were. Everyone front the receptionist to the Doctor were friendly with their conversation and made me feel at home. Office is clean, there was no wait both times I have come so far... 5 Stars is a "No Brainer" Dr. Zarrabi and the whole crew is as good as it gets! I have been going for the last 4 years after a bad experience in a different city. Every time I walk out of there no matter what the procedure from a cleaning to a broken crown, I am pleasantly surprised how good the experience is (yes I said that).
He truly cares for the patient, expresses concerns in a great way as well as explains options and recommendations very concisely. They get to know you and have your health and well being in mind.

I've avoided going to a dentist for years now. So long, that now I was afraid to go. Embarrassed and nervous, I went to see Dr. Zarabi and his team at Mint Dental Works, and I've already scheduled my next cleaning!
I wish all of my doctors visits were like this. The entire staff is so friendly and professional, other practices should take note! From scheduling, to reminders, and even a follow-up email to see how you're doing within 24 hrs of your visit.

His office is welcoming with music by Radiohead, Death Cab for Cutie, etc., his staff is incredible in terms of their knowledge, approachability, and bedside manner, and Dr. Z is just the absolute best. I was very intimidated by the unknown (what would I need done? How much would it cost? How long would it take? Will it hurt?) and he put every one of my fears and concerns at ease. I've never been kept waiting, I've never felt rushed, and I want other people to know about him. Dental work can be scary but he makes it easy

It's my main stay dentist here in Houston.
The parking is easy and there is almost no wait time.
The dentist is amazing. The hygienist is awesome!
Would recommend this place to everyone.
