Services
Regular dental visits are essential to make sure oral health problems, from tooth decay to oral cancer, are detected and treated in a timely manner. From regular cleanings and exams to advanced restorative treatments, all of your routine dental needs can be met right here. We can treat a variety of traumatic dental injuries, including teeth that have been chipped, moved, or knocked out entirely.
Cavities are a type of tooth injury caused by tooth decay - rot inside or outside of a tooth. Typically, it is caused by bacteria in your mouth feeding on uncleaned teeth or improperly cleaned teeth. We usually allow 1 1/2 hours for your appointment so as to provide enough time to take care of all of your needs/concerns.

I've been a patient here for awhile, yet I never cease to be amazed at the high level of care at Bayou City Smiles. More than once, I have been seen for tooth pain within 24 hours of calling. They sincerely care about their patients, ensuring we are pain free and happy. They always, without fail, go over the cost beforehand. Cannot recommend enough! Also, Dr. Quincy is amazing!!

Thank you Bayou City Smiles for my new crown. I really can’t believe it is so easy. Christian scanned my tooth, then put it in the cubic zirconia printer, baked it and done, Dr Coral is the greatest dentist in the world, it was a pain fee experience and I used gas. I now have the hardest substance ever as a crown on my tooth and it only took 2 1/2 pain free hours around and about $600. Fantastic! What a great team.

I was just refused a cleaning because I would not pay for "deep cleaning". I asked to them to please just do the cleaning that was fully covered by my insurance and they said "it would not be worth it". So my teeth are in need of a deep clean but it's not worth it to do a basic cleaning instead because that's what covered by my insurance?
For reference, the deep cleaning they were insistent in doing was $98 AFTER insurance. I called a month before my appointment to verify they accepted my insurance and what the cost of the appointment would be. They never mentioned that there were different levels

I have been going to Bayou City Smiles for a couple of years and every single person that works there is extremely friendly and welcoming. Kate, my dental hygienist, Dr. Corral , and the WHOLE STAFF are so genuinely friendly, professional people, and I will always be a loyal customer. I feel like family every time I go for my routine checkup.

Everyone is very professional from the front office, financial coordinator to Dr. Guzman. I had my exam and dental cleaning done today. Just finished my first visit to Bayou City Smiles and couldn’t be happier! It was squeaky clean, organized and the staff was warm and welcoming. The cleaning was performed by Richard Duong. His gentle technique and excellent sense of humor made the whole experience tolerable and fun. My teeth are squeaky clean and ready for prime time! Definitely coming back in 6 months and I might even floss every day like I promised.

I've always been anxious going to the dentist after painful injection filling experiences in the past but no more! Dr Corral has magic hands I swear. I've had her do several fillings and remove four teeth and never have I ever felt any pain during the procedure (and minimal pain after) -- simply amazing! She's also very polite and explains everything thoroughly. I am so glad I found her and never want to see another dentist again.

My husband and I just moved to Houston and you can imagine how daunting it is to find a dentist you connect with. We found BCS through a local magazine and cannot be happier with their performance...especially our hygienist Tu. From the first call to the actual cleaning they were knowledgeable and courteous...and both Tu and Dr Corral spent the extra time explaining everything to me and making the whole experience extremely comfortable. If you need a new Dentist I highly recommend Bayou City Smiles.

My dentist retired and I was overdo for a dental check up, but was really worried about Covid-19. I did go for a check up/cleaning and could not be happier with all the staff at Bayou City Smiles.
They have excellent protocols to protect patients and staff. I was seen by Chriszelda and Dr. Peoples and they were both very professional and thorough in explanations. Don’t wait. If you need a dentist, you will be very comfortable in this beautiful clinic l, convenient location and great staff.

I used Bayou City Smiles (BCS) for a little over 3 years. The purpose of this review is to help people decide whether to use BCS or not.
Bottom line, I quit using these guys because I had a bad experience with both dentists. I simply do not trust that these people have my best interests at heart. I gave BCS 1 star for this reason. I 100% recommend using these guys for routine cleanings and a couple fillings. The problem is, these people prioritize profits over your health and well-being. I would consider using another dentist office if you need extensive work done.

I have terrible dental anxiety and visits usually include a panic attack either before or during. Had my first procedure (tooth extraction) done yesterday; Dr. Carrol was so very gentle, calm, and communicative during the procedure, hygienist and staff is very friendly, the office is inviting, and I was able to get through it calmly. Ready to complete my long list of work that I have been putting off!

Update to my continued dental visits with Dr. Guzman. He is just the greatest dentist ever. Their whole staff is extremely nice and welcoming.
I have my routine check ups here and the hygienists always do a great job, are super efficient, and friendly.
Tuesday, I had scheduled a longer visit to have 3 cavities and 3 gum line grooves fixed (essentially three fillings). These cavities that Dr. Guzman worked on weren't just normal cavities, they were ones that formed beneath existing fillings. Dr. G had to drill out the existing filling and had discovered some deep cavities beneath them

Listen, I hate going to the dentist like you do. It's never a fun experience. I got a recommendation by a co-worker to come to Bayou City Smiles, so I made my appointment. I was overwhelmed by how amazing every member of the staff is. I have never had an "incredible" experience at the dentist until now. I would recommend them to anyone for their… caring touch and genuine interest in making sure my dental health is in tip-top shape. I even got a call from the dentist _himself_ the next day to make sure everything was okay after a procedure. I highly recommend them to anyone who was scared

I was there as a new patient on 2/5/2019 and I really enjoyed my experience there. I've been looking for a new dentist since about 6 months ago. What I really liked about this office is how effective, thorough and approachable the staffs are. My dental hygienist was Kate and she was wonderful. Not only she was gentle but she was also very skillful. Dr. De Guzman gave me the dental exam and he was very professional and thorough.
Since I opt for more cleaning every 3 months, it matters to me how the pricing is as well. Their prices are very reasonable.

I was deathly afraid of Dentist offices, but needed to be seen. I selected this office based on lots of word of mouth recommendations. Then when I saw over 100 yelp reviews giving them a 5-star rating, I knew I couldn’t go wrong. They are extremely welcoming and friendly from the minute you walk in the door. Jennifer was very gentle checking and… x-raying my teeth. Dr. Marcus de Guzman was very kind, gentle and concerned about my comfort. I ended up having a dental emergency and they worked me in. The best part is that I didn’t feel any discomfort or pain. This is the best Dentist

Very impressed with Bayou City Smiles! A few weeks back a crown fell out while I was eating. I immediately went to Bayou City Smiles and they worked me in right away. They got the crown back in but told me it… didn't fit right so I would have to replace it. I went in for the replacement on Thursday. Dr Guzman was great. He took his time and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. The best part is they make their crowns on the spot. No need for a temporary crown and having to come back multiple times. It was done all at one time. Dr Guzman even called me personally the next
