I called to book with Aaron (who I have gone to for years) and was told he is no longer there. The girl nearly hung up on me. Someone else in the reviews mentioned Aaron and Joyce no longer own the place. Such a bummer. This spa was great and Aaron was the best massage therapist I had found in all my years in Austin.

The owner has been changed, Joyce and Aaron does not work here anymore . Don’t come here , new masseur are ridiculous this shop is not clean. Forgot the name of a tall women ,she massaged for me, just like careless of my body, nothing gets better for my back, I asked some questions , she doesn’t know English, everything answered YES ? . Never Never Never come back.

I used to go to regularly to get a massage as my only splurge bc I have regularly occuring upper back pain. They always managed to help relieve some of the tension, but the staff has changed and I had the worst massage of my life there last time. No matter how many times I told the therapist the areas I needed her to work on, she ignored me. I literally said, "please stop rubbing there and rub my shoulders. This used to be my favorite place to go for years. The quality of massages was always amazing, I used to leave as a completely new person. 5 out of 5 stars for the last few years. However, recently, very unfortunately, it has not been the same. I've gone twice over the last few months and the massages have not been good. Not terrible, but the two ladies I had an appointment with on different days had been well below average. I went today to see Aaron for a massage. I was skeptical because my frozen shoulder and sciatica were so bad. Aaron worked on me for an hour. I won’t lie, it was rough but afterwards I felt relief from pain for the first time in years. I will be going back every 2 weeks until I am healed. I actually feel that it is possible now. I went in today for the 2nd time. Today I had Joyce and she was amazing! She was very detailed in her massage and really seemed knowledgeable about what she was doing! My shoulders and back have never felt this amazing after a massage before. She also listened well and asked questions along to way to make sure the massage was perfect - which I really appreciated!

I have been to Aaron a few times now and he is truly wonderful! He seems to work every area until we are both satisfied that the tension is gone.
On top of normal stress and tension, I have some issues in my right shoulder so he spends extra time stretching and using different techniques to help improve my range of motion.

My boyfriend and I came in for a couples massage for 60 mins for ONLY $120 (excluding tip). Total Relax is the best kept secret in Rosedale. When booking, I just specified I need someone who does hard pressure and every time I've gotten the perfect massage. My BF has a chronic back issue and his pain was greatly relieved for weeks after the massage. The staff is kind and sweet.
As long as you're not looking for some ultra fancy place with mimosa's and don't mind using simple words since

This place is so worth. The masseuses definitely know what they're doing. I don't know if they only have female employees, but as a female I was glad to have a female masseuse. She was very experienced, was very caring, and checked in with me often to make sure the pressure was appropriate. I'll absolutely visit here again!

I have now been to total relax several times - I'm the duchess, it seems. Therefore, I feel pretty confident in my review. :)

Place was ok. I had Ivy at the Round Rock location. I got a 90 min massage with the expectation of getting my lower back worked on (a recent car wreck left it tight and sore).
Massage started ok but I feel like she got tired half way through. After telling her a few different times that I really needed lower back work done, she paid no special attention to it at all. I was confused and disappointed. So finally I spoke up and asked again. She then proceeded to tell me that she couldn't work on it any more? Ok.
Environment is decent. Not the worst but definitely not the best.
I paid $80
