Both Roddy and Jay are well-established in New Orleans but have experience photographing weddings all over the world! They love to travel and are seasoned destination-wedding photographers. They've successfully teamed up with wedding coordinators in some of the most beautiful and exotic destinations to produce exceptional wedding photography.
Oh my goodness. I cannot say enough good things about Roddy and Jay. They were absolutely AMAZING! My husband and I aren't very big on being center of attention but these guys made us feel so comfortable! They blended right in with our family/friends. They captured our wedding exactly how we wanted from the small to big moments.

Roddy did an amazing job photographing my surprise proposal and then shooting engagement photos the next day. His skill as a photographer paired with his knowledge of the city creates some of the best photographs I have ever seen for proposal and engagement sessions.
Reviewing his portfolio, I knew he was going to be able to create beautiful, artistic photographs using both lighting and scenery, but what I didn't realize was his ability to capture the emotion of the proposal with photographs of intimate moments like the first tear of joy rolling down my fiance's cheek as she hugged me tightly

We researched several photographers for our wedding this past March and they were either too expensive or we were not impressed by their portfolios. Then we came across Roddy Orgeron's website. We immediately loved his style of photography and his packages were in our budget! From the first time Roddy and I spoke to even after the wedding, he was always so friendly, professional and helpful! He made us feel very comfortable before and on the day of the wedding. It was also great to have 2 people photographing instead of one. Our guests were even saying how great a job our photographer did because

Roddy Orgeron Photography captured our wedding day better than we imagined possible! Roddy is easy going, fun to work with, and really cares about delivering what's important to the couple. I thought the photography/photographer aspect of the wedding was going to be the worst/hardest part, but I was very wrong-- and I believe that is because of who we chose to capture our wedding day!

We booked Roddy after doing a Google Search for New Orleans Wedding Photographer. We were travelling in from out of the country to elope and wanted a top notch photographer to capture the special moments. The few photographers I looked at did not impress me.... I can say in complete confidence that the best choice I made in my wedding (besides my choice in groom) was hiring Roddy (& his assistant Jamie) as our photographers! The overall experience with him went way beyond what I had imagined or expected. They worked so quickly to capture the meaningful moments of our day. The only thing we were bummed about after our wedding was how quickly the day flew by. Fortunately, we chose Roddy to capture our wedding so now we can relive and remember our special day through his beautiful images! I would highly recommend him to EVERYONE we know. Roddy and his assistant did an amazing job for our wedding in May 2013. He got all of the formal pictures along with some great candid shots. We were all wondering how he was able to capture so many intimate moments throughout the ceremony and reception. He got to my house right on time and stayed later when the reception continued to party for 20 more minutes. He also had my pictures ready to view in 2 weeks, which is unheard of! I highly recommend Roddy!
