Serenity Therapeutic Massage opened in the Historic Montavilla Neighborhood in July of 2006. Specializing in deep and relaxing therapeutic massage, without discomfort. I offer affordable massage therapy services in a safe and non-discriminatory environment. I value environmentally friendly practices, and use high-quality natural massage lotions, essential oils, candles, detergents, and cleaners.
A soothing and relaxing massage, incorporating long slow rhythmic strokes, gentle kneading, rocking, compression and light stretching. Every massage session is specifically tailored to treat your sore, tight, and overworked muscles. Swedish massage can be done at any depth of pressure from light to deep.

My Primary Care Physician prescribed a massage to help alleviate the agonizing pain i was experiencing from stress. My neck and upper body were just one big knot and it had gotten so bad that it was interfering with my work. Enter Brooke. After only 1 massage I can honestly say that the pain and numbness I was experiencing in my arm, are gone! I'm going to schedule future massages just for maintenance, but as for now... wow! I was not expecting it to disappear just like that.

Had my first massage from Brooke yesterday and was completely floored at how amazing it was. I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage for my back and neck and she hit so many spots that I didn't even know had pain. Her technique is so spot-on and so unique! I've had a LOT of massages in my life and they all fail in comparison to Brooke. I will definitely be back to see Brooke :-)

Brooke is an incredible massage therapist! I tried out several (10+) massage therapists in the Portland area before meeting her and have no need to look further.
I do a great deal of hiking and alpine climbing and greatly appreciate deep tissue with extreme pressure. Most of the massage therapists I previously went to weren't able (or willing) to accommodate the amount of physical pressure I wanted (even after repeat visits). Brooke was willing and very able and I'm certain she is capable of providing even more pressure if I were to ask her for it. For those that need a more gentle touch

Brooke is as good as it gets! In Portland, where you can't walk a block without passing by a massage office, it's surprisingly difficult to find a therapist who does excellent deep tissue work and who knows how to move the body and ease areas of pain and tension. Brooke does all of those things and more. She listens to my needs and does her best to work out my body's painful areas. I don't know what those other people are complaining about but it's not the bodywork, it looks like a bunch of whiny people who are just trying to get a good deal, and don't care about

Brooke is a terrific masseuse. I have gotten many massages over the years at other places, but Brooke is the best. She's very attentive, and is very good at finding tension areas, and working out the stress. I've talked with some her other customers, and they all said glowing things about their experiences too. I should also note that Brooke is very honest, and runs a great business. Don't let the complainers deter you, it sounds like their problem has more to do with Living Social than the quality of Serenity's services.

I have been going to Brook for massage for a few years and she is wonderful. I see her for stress, for assorted aches and pains and help with the occasional injury and I always come away feeling better and relaxed. Her office is professional and her massage room is comfortable and inviting. I have given gift certificates to friends for gifts and recommend her highly.
