Hey, we're Regis and Kahran! We're artists obsessed with unique, visual storytelling. In fact, we connected because of both our passion for preserving precious moments. We fell head over heels in love with one another, and in the process created something beautiful: CreativeSoul Photography. With more than 10 years of working with hundreds of children, families and brands, we specialize in lifestyle photography and authentic, visual storytelling.
The AfroArt series is a recognition and celebration of the versatility of black hair and its innate beauty. The purpose of this series is to illustrate the story of our royal past, celebrate the glory of the here and now, and even dare to forecast the future. With this series, we aim to empower children of color to embrace their natural curls and the skin that they're in.
From the dynamite husband and wife duo behind CreativeSoul Photography comes GLORY, a photography book that shatters the conventional standards of beauty for Black children. With stunning images of natural hair and gorgeous, inventive visual storytelling, GLORY puts Black beauty front and center with more than 100 breathtaking photographs and a collection of powerful essays about the children.
Our photo sessions are a unique experience for many, so we've put together a FAQs list with some of our most popular questions to assist you in the booking process. We truly adore the kids we work with, but we are actual working photographers (not an agency) who make a living from our photography. Most (ie 95%) of the kids on our site and social media pages are actual clients who book sessions with us.
We deliver stunning images that make your child stand out and attract more modeling opportunities. Having worked with parents all over the globe, the one thing that never gets old for us is seeing the reactions to their child's headshots and creative portraits for the first time. Whether your child is brand new to the industry or a seasoned vet, we offer headshot and portfolio sessions that help your child stand out from the crowd.

We found out about Creative Soul after leaving Atlanta for a photo shoot. Love their work and their attention to detail along with creativity. They make children look like art and it is so amazing. We have had our 3rd session with them and looking forward to more. Their team is super nice and professional. Cannot say enough about them and how much we love working with them and seeing the final result.

We flew from Oregon to Atlanta to photograph with CreativeSoul. From the time Kahran greeted us til the time we left we felt like we were home. Kahran and Reg were so warm and welcoming we really enjoyed our experience. As well we were very satisfied with the quality of the photographs we received and all done in a very timely manner. CreativeSoul has hit the nail on the head. The best of the best.

Kahran and Reg were the most professional and creative photographers my children have ever worked with. They are not “industry” kids so this experience was brand new for them. Everyone on their team was kind and welcoming. I truly appreciated the open communication and complete follow through on everything promised. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for that unique experience for photos that capture the essence of black beauty which will also transcend time. That’s the way all photos should be. ♥️

Long time fan of CreativeSoul so when the opportunity presented itself to have a creative session for 3 of our kids it was something that we jumped on immediately. Could not be more happy about the outcome as the pictures are AMAZING!!! We will cherish the photos and the experience for years to come and it was such an awesome experience being behind the scenes and watching the magic created as it happens. Highly recommend getting a creative session if able.

5 stars aren't enough to rate this one-of-a-kind experience. The team is phenomenal and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her photoshoot. The level of attention to detail from the photographers, makeup artist, and hair stylist is unmatched. This is a childhood experience my daughter will never forget. We look forward to doing it again.

My daughter Alexis had the pleasure of being photographed by this amazing couple. They were very professional and provided a safe environment during Covid. The entire team is very creative and exceeded my expectations. My daughter is very shy and they were able to make her comfortable and show her personality through the photographs.
