Prominent Counseling Services, LLC, (PCS) is a Mental Health Skill Building Agency located in Richmond, Virginia that started in 2018. Our agency was established by a Qualified Mental Health Professional, Angela Craighead with more than 10 years of experience in the Human Service Field. PCS understands that life can be difficult, filled with challenges and disappointments.
Prominent Counseling Services, LLC has two locations; Richmond, Virginia and Farmville, Va. We provide individuals with the opportunity to participate in our community-based program.
Our company serves youth and adolescents 5-21 and young adults to late adulthood from ages 18 and up with mental, behavioral, and emotional disturbances, which has resulted in significant impairment and inability to self-manage in the home or community environment without supportive interventions.The focus of our services will be centered on assisting individuals with learning the skills needed to become independently stable.

Mental Health Skill-Building is available for individuals 18 to late adulthood with a mental illness. Some of the areas this service assists with include symptom management, medication management, 24/7 crisis management, activities of daily living, independent living skills, health and safety, interpersonal skills, and appointment compliance.
Intensive In-Home Services is available for children and adolescents ages 5-21. This service includes up to 10 hours a week of intensive individual and family therapy, supportive counseling, 24/7 crisis management and care coordination. Some of the areas that this service helps improve included family communication, conflict resolution, behavior management, family relationships, interpersonal skills, coping skills and symptom management.
