Never ever live here. Don’t let the gated community fool you because for months that gate was broken. They have frequent water outages and the rooms and living area does not look like the model room. Last summer my air conditioner went out three times.
I can’t wait until my lease is up in a couple of months. Take my advice and look for other places to live in Troy let The Arch be your LAST option.

Absolutely horrible in every way possible. The model home is a lie and so much nicer in every way than the actual home. The moment I stepped into my room on move in day I knew I messed up. I had to clean everything because of the moldy smell mixed with dust everywhere. I had to throw out my $120 coffee maker because of the roach infestation. Bugs everywhere in the apartment no matter how much I cleaned or asked the staff to spray. So many outlets did not work and our dryer took 3 cycles to dry. I did not stay in my room for over 2 weeks because the maintenance staff would not come and fix my smoke

Please do not walk, run when you see the Arch at Troy! They are unprofessional and a rip-off. College students manage the housing with the corporate office as backup. However, the regional manager, A. Lender, does not promptly return yor call. They make up rules as they go along at their convenience. No one can give you an answer that is concrete. I was optimistic when new management took over; however, the only change is the name. Think long and hard before signing a lease with the Arch at Troy formerly the Grove at Troy. My son has lived in the apartments since the fall semester of 2014. Please

Please do not stay here. They are sweet as pie and helpful when they are showing you the properties. They charged my son $1300 to move out for I don't know what. I'm in the process on filing a small claims against The Grove to see if I can get some money back, because these charges are not responsible. Also, don't move in because if your son or daughter has to leave for any type of emergency, they will not help re-lease the apartment if all of theirs are not leased. I had to pay 6 months and my son wasn't even in the apartment. I was also informed by another person, they charged

These apartments will rip you off when you move out. They will charge you to repaint the apartment even though the lease states normal wear and tear is expected. They will charge you to replace their worn out furniture. They will charge you to clean their carpets. I know people who received a $1600 final bill after moving out.
