As a documentary photographer, I'm an observer and storyteller. Everyone who saw our shots said they were the best wedding photos they had ever seen. EVERYONE. One extremely successful woman, married to a famous doctor said to us, "I want to get married again so I can have your photographer do the wedding." She said it several times so I can only imagine that for all money can buy, she was left wanting more.
I am lucky to have called Israel, New York and most recently (ok 16 years) Los Angeles my home and as my family resides in all three, well, so does my business. Photographing weddings on both coasts and in Israel has allowed me to capture ceremonies, receptions and celebrations at some of the most beautiful east and west coast wedding venues and to work with very special families.

Maya is so much fun! We did a couple photo shoot and it was never awkward or weird, we had a wonderful time! Even my boyfriend, who hates getting his photo taken, says that he really enjoyed it. The photos are wonderful, they're so well done and are exactly what we wanted. I would absolutely recommend her for whatever photos you need.

We picked Maya as our engagement and wedding photographer and it was the best decision we had made. We had never been under a professional camera like this before. But she was able to make us feel relaxed and so comfortable with her. We truly love her style and her photos documented every single details of our special day. We were so lucky to have Maya photograph our wedding. She is beyond talented, and perhaps the best decision we made for our wedding. We chose Maya to be our wedding photographer because we got chills and literally teared up when we saw her photos online for the first time. We were looking at photos of strangers, yet through Maya's artistic lens we felt like we had known them for years. No other photographers we had looked at had been able to capture raw emotion the way Maya does. She is 100% the way to go if you want great-looking candids of all the important and special moments of your day (of which there are sure to be many!)

I literally cannot say enough good things about Maya Myers!! From the first day we met her, she was SO sweet and professional and I could tell that she knew exactly what I wanted my wedding and engagement photos to look like. Wedding is a very special event for both bride and groom esp. the bride :D However perfect you want it to be there's always imperfections. But its amazing how photos can get to show your happiness specially if you have the best photographer to capture it. They say that a photo is worth a thousand words. I didn't fully understand that saying, until just recently when looking at the photos from my wedding. At one time I too was a professional photographer, so when it came time to finding a wedding photographer of my own you can imagine how incredibly picky and critical I was. There are hundreds of "photographers" in LA but very few have a creative vision that can bring your wedding day to life in a truly unique way.
