Located in Olde Marco, Marek's is a family owned Restaurant proudly serving dinner since 1995. Dine at Marek's and enjoy our relaxed island atmosphere serving casual island cuisine including daily fresh fish. Marek's has two full bars, outside dining with entertainment on select evenings.

International award winning Chef/Owner Peter Marek was born in Kenya, and completed his professional training in Westminster college where he met his wife Penny.Peter and Penny moved to Marco Island and opened Marek's Collier House Restaurant in 1995. In 2010, Marek's evolved and expanded from a fine dining establishment to a more casual relaxed restaurant, and Peter and Penny were then joined by Peter Jr and his wife Hannah.

Great ambience. Peter the bartender makes great martinis and Peter the chef always guarantees a delicious meal.

Definitely would recommend ordering the specials! Our waitress knew the front and back and we our party ordered several, all were fantastic! I had the lamb shank and it literally fell off the bone when I went to eat it! Great ambience and wonderful service!

Food was excellent and drinks were tasty too. I had the short ribs. My friend Kay had the lobster stir fry. Mark had a burger and Tom had crab stuffed shrimp. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

Food was over cooked, tasteless and overpriced. The service was horrible, and felt rushed from the moment we arrived to when we walked out the door. They were more interested in rushing us thru our dinner versus ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Will never return!

Quaint 40-60's SW florida home converted to very stylish restaurant. Great bar and drinks. Appetizers were to die for! but there the party ends. the service was fair at best and the maincourses we would give a passable B but not order again. the topper for bad was the molten lava cake! Lies, and more lies. it was a chocolate bundt cake with warm chocolate sauce poured in the middle. Would not waste my time with better fish restaurants abundant in Marco.

Great place. My wife loved her pompano special and I had the swordfish. Both excellent as well as the escargot! And the key lime pie was also top notch.

First time eating here and Mareks is head and shoulders above the other restaurants l tried on my vacation. Very nice decor, friendly and professional staff and outstanding food. My sauteed grouper was perfect. I loved the blackened tuna appetizer as well. Finally the creme brulee with coconut finished off a perfect meal. I highly recommend eating here.

Food is delicious and service was very good! The restaurant is so cozy inside. We sat outside since the weather was beautiful and cool. There was a singer/guitarist playing music outside as well. He needs to have a record contract because he was fantastic! Really enjoyed this place.
