We hired Jay for an intimate COVID wedding in November 2020. He was helpful and communicative throughout. His style is to tell a story of the day/event and uses more "candid" shots than lots of traditional posed or set up shots. He was upfront and made sure we were comfortable with that style. He was great to work with, especially with late changes due to covid. After the event, he stayed in touch throughout the process to make sure we had our pictures, created our album, worked with us on album edits and kept us updated as it was being created and shipped. Definitely recommend working with him

From first contact to last Jay was professional, efficient and engaging. I am so grateful to have found our “Go To” photographer. We needed professional head shots for fellowship and website material. In the midst of COVID-19 he was still able to accommodate our extremely limited availability while maintaining safe practices. I cannot express how much we enjoyed working with Jay. He is amazing at what he does!! Not only did he exceed all expectations with the moments he captured, he provides so much more than just wedding photos. My husband is not comfortable in front of the camera, but Jay was able to work his ninja skills and fade into the background. By doing so, he was able to get the most amazing, comfortable, real shots of him being comfortable and enjoying our night.

I first contacted Jay after only seeing his website. He was incredibly helpful over the phone, which is why I ultimately chose him for our event. He explained how the process would work on the day of, what to expect in the quality of the photos and turnover time. He was reasonably priced compared to the other photographers I looked into. I continued to work with Jay via phone and email leading up to the event. A photographer is generally a key component in capturing memories for monumental events in our lives; e.g., weddings, awards, family photos, birthdays, etc. So choosing a photographer is an enormous task and if you don't know the photographer and their work personally you hold your breath and hope that they were able to memorialize that special day for you. Anxiously you wait for your pictures to arrive and hopefully your photographer came through with exactly what you had in mind or better.
