You probably came here looking for a little information about me, so here's the long and short of it. I moved to Denver, Colorado in 1999 after graduating from college and getting a job in engineering. I worked for years out of an office in the Highlands, but always had an itch to do something creative; that's where photography came into the picture.
I work with each client to create a unique image, that reflects your personality and profession. Additionally, each session comes with complete headshot edit and retouching services. Whether we are shooting in my studio space, a location of your choosing, or I'm bringing my mobile portrait studio to your offices - I strive to create an unparalleled headshot.
On site "at-event printing" can be combined with any photo package (photowalls, socials, corporate events, etc.) to provide your guests with a keepsake from your wedding reception, event, conference or function. Working with my assistant, prints are available quickly and continuously throughout your event, so guests can pick up their photos at their convenience.
AK PHOTO offers competitive AirBnB and short term rental professional photography packages and serves Denver, the Front Range, and mountain communities (Breckenridge, Vail, Beaver Creek, Aspen, etc.). He makes everyone feel comfortable getting their photo taken and is amazing at what he does. Andrew at AK Photo did a great job for us. We had some (business) team portraits from another part of the country and he was able to match those perfectly for our employee in Colorado. His attention to COVID protocols, professionalism, responsiveness and quality were fantastic. His price was fair. I had an absolutely incredible experience with Andrew getting a head shot done. In a previous head shot experience, the photographer was quiet, disengaging, and while they took a decent photo, they ultimately didn't allow me to be a part of the process in choosing the final photo, so I wasn't happy. Andrew was the complete opposite of that experience. Andrew was friendly, inviting, and made me feel very comfortable. I absolutely recommend AK Photo. I am a business owner and got professional headshots done here five years ago, and have used those headshots more times than I can count since then. Being photogenic is not one of my strengths, but Andrew authentically brought the best out in me and I feel really good about the final product. I've also worked with him on another project recently and found his professionalism and warmth just as strong as it was five years ago. Since it's been five years, I'm due for new headshots and absolutely will be using AK Photo again.

We used Andrew to professionally photograph a rental of ours. I found him to be reasonably priced, very detail oriented and professional. He edited the images and had them back to me quickly which I appreciated because that meant I could get it rented that much sooner - saving me time and money! There is a huge difference between snapping some pics on your iPhone and having Andrew use his special wide angle lenses. Andrew really does a fantastic job. I had a professional headshot taken. He had me laughing immediately, which put me at ease. He listened to what kind of photo I wanted and what I wanted to convey in the picture and then proceeded to help me achieve that goal. I spent a lot of time searching for a photographer for engagement photos. Pictures are really important to me and I was really nervous about how they would turn out. Luckily, I heard of Andrew through my uncle and it was the best thing that could have happened to me throughout this wedding process.
