A dental implant is specifically designed to replace a missing tooth. When a tooth falls out or is extracted, a gap is present in your smile. Bone grafting is a surgical procedure that is essential for patients who have areas of bone loss around the jaw. Bone loss can often occur as a result of a variety of different conditions. From gum disease to having had extractions done, bone loss can cause your face to look sunken-in and make implants difficult or even impossible to place.
If you have periodontal disease, it is important to utilize methods to stop the progression of the disease and its effects. Fortunately, ossesous surgery is able to get rid of diseased bone and gum tissue so that you're left with a healthier mouth. We are able to perform ossesous surgery right in the office and send you home the same day with informative aftercare instructions.
Many times, patients are hesitant to go to the dentist because of the sounds and vibrations caused by the dental drill. This is why we use laser technology in our office, since it is easier, painless and quicker than traditional drills. Laser dentistry uses high-powered laser technology to power away soft and hard tissue.

I went to see my gum. Doctor seems professional and l believed her suggestion. The only sad thing is l paid 130 for this consultation and got a 7400$ quote (6200 for osseous surgery 1200 for other thing)and plus few thousands dollars for new crowns after the laser or osseous surgery. Over 10k:(
Doctor mentioned they will use laser but the quote l get is osseous surgery. So l thought these are the same. After l asked some friends l know they are different. Anyway I was shocked that l need to pay over 10k

Thanks for making sure my mouth was very numbed before beginning the gum implants!! Dr. Kramer and her assistant Alana were wonderful, kind and made what could have been an awful experience one that was pleasurable. Thanks for checking on me by phone afterwards at home. Dr Kramer and her staff are very warm and friendly and they made me feel comfortable and at ease. I had to have an extraction (which I was very nervous about) to get ready for an implant. My procedure was painless and Dr Kramer called me later that evening to see how I was doing. Thank you Dr Kramer and to your staff for such good care.

The patient care was excellent. This was my first visit, based on a recommendation from my dentist. I was diagnosed by my dentist as having a loose crown over an implant. Each team was caring, engaging, and explained every step they took to identify the issue and develop a course of treatment. Each member of the team took time to explain what they were doing and why, so that when it came time for me to make any decision, I was well informed. Dr. Kramer and her staff truly from day one have been God sent for me.. Ten years ago my teeth started falling apart due to silent acid reflux. Over the course of those ten years many attempts were made to save my original teeth considering I am only in my twenties. Almost a year ago I was told I was going to eventually lose all my teeth and I needed to start looking at options. My entire experience at West Cobb Periodontist was exceptional. From scheduling the appointment to the warm greeting and comforting pre-procedure care - everything was extraordinary. Dr. Kramer and her staff are wonderful! They were compassionate, kind, and professional. My 12 year old was seen for surgical exposure for two teeth. I my dentist diagnosed me with a gummy smile and said I needed jaw surgery and braces to fix it. I didn't want to get surgery but I wanted to see a gun specialist. I saw Dr. Kramer and she was so sweet, kind and professional. During the consultation, she gave me all my options and was extremely knowledgeable. I went to three other specialists and she was by far the most honest and competent doctor I saw. Instead of surgery, she gave me the option of using Botox which is reversible and has no serious complications as a way to treat my gummy smile. No other dentist offered this option and only

So I'm particularly picky when it comes to finding a good dentist. After looking at several other local options, I can honestly say that I'm so happy I found Dr. Kramer. I'm always nervous going to the dentist but she and her team always make me feel comfortable. WOW. I've never felt more at ease and comfortable at a doctor's office. Dr. Kramer was amazing as well as her staff. I felt comfortable and welcome in the waiting room and it didn't stop after my initial visit. The day of surgery was just as comforting.
