Services
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
Dr. Sarah graduated from Oak Ridge High School. She received her Bachelors Degree from UT in 2001 with a major in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and a minor in English - She loves Shakespeare as a result! She then graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Dr. Sarah's mother was a prominent Ragdoll breeder for nearly 15 years and Dr. Sarah "grew up" in a cattery.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For your convenience, "drop-off" appointments are available for a nominal charge.
Here are some questions/answers that we are frequently asked. If you have additional questions that aren't covered here, please feel free to give us a call at Middlebrook Animal Clinic. 1. What are the Hospital hours? Spaying or neutering can be done at approximately 4 months of age. Your pet is given an exam prior to surgery to help determine whether your pet is healthy enough to undergo the surgical procedure.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability
They ignored specific instructions on what shots to give my cat and just did what they wanted. Also gave poor quality flea meds that didn't work and charged me for a unnecessary rabies shot. Very Unprofessional and I highly recommend that you don't bring your animal here.

Looking for a new vet and immediately cancelled the appointment because of rude and extremely judgemental remarks.
I called as a new client for my sick dog and when gathering information about my dog the lady asked if she was spayed. I said no and her response was "that's aweful!" In the most snarky judgemental tone. She's a 10 year old breeding rescue dog and I didn't want to put her through the surgery because of her age and health. But you didn't ask that before judging me so instead of me telling you over the phone now I'm telling you in a review.
Good to know this is how you treat your brand

Our experience with Dr. Sarah was shockingly horrible and traumatizing.
We have a fourteen year old cat who is absolutely miserable. Over the last year, she has had a steep decline physically & behaviorally. She is unable to use the litter box or make it up the stairs. She was once my sweetest lap cat and now stays in hiding 23 hours of the day.
… After six months of agonizing over this hard decision, we decided it was time to put her down. She was no longer happy. She had received regular veterinary care in our previous state but with the pandemic had not seen a vet in over a year.

I have trusted Dr. Sarah and staff for 15 years and now again with my 3 year old German Labrador, Roland. My mom was visiting from out of town last weekend. While she and I were at lunch, Roland had gotten… into her medication bag. When we returned home he had five medication bottles chewed up on the floor with mounds of medication everywhere. Needless to say Roland is OKAY thanks to Dr. Sarah and Crystal for their speedy action. Not only did Crystal stay on the phone with me to collect information but also calmed me down during a panic attack. Dr. Sarah was super quick in collecting the

Monster Kudos to Middlebrook Animal Clinic. They fit me in for a big cat problem. Their protocol is to stay in your car and call when you arrive. Within a few minutes, a fully masked very nice young lady came and collected our 2 fur babies. I requested and received all forms online. I scanned and sent them back as well as paid over the phone. Very impressed to their approach to pet care!!! I spoke with the Doctor over the phone and she advised me about safe practical solutions. She answered every one of my questions Everything was done at a safe distance, yet very smart practice. They fully solved

The best Veterinarian in West Knoxville! It really is one of a kind in just how personal and in depth the care is. I have brought all my dogs here over the last decade and whether it is minor or major Vet. Sara gives her undivided attention on your animal. There will be times were 4 vets will all be working with your animal. You never feel rushed and there have been times in need where she will see my dog after all her appointments just to get them in. I could probably write a novel in just how much I appreciate this place. They go way above and beyond any Veterinarian's office I have ever been

We love Dr. Sarah and the staff Middlebrook Animal Clinic! Everyone in the office is so personable, caring, and always so helpful.
Yesterday, our boy had an emergency & needed to be seen ASAP. My fiancé gave them a call while on his way to the office - they were ready for us as soon as we arrived & stayed late to make sure our boy was taken care of. Dr. Sarah really cares about our pets like they are her own.
I recommend everyone to Dr. Sarah! We can’t thank Middlebrook Animal Clinic enough for always being there for our fur babies!

Dr. Sarah and her team has taken care of both our animals (cat and dog) for 14 plus years. She spent a great deal of time with us and helped us to understand basic animal behavior as well as ailments. They have seen us through the full lives and deaths of our precious fur babies and I can't imagine any one better suited to partner with us on their care and prepare us for their final days. Thank you for all you've done over the last decade and a half. Our recent loss was made easier knowing you were by our side, just as you were from the beginning with our crazy little lab puppy 14

Had taken our Cats to another vet for years. Had to take our Lucy there over a month ago for what we thought was a bladder infection. That place did a urinalysis, said no infection and that was it, along with being very pricey. Took Lucy for second opinion to Dr Sarah. Without even examing Lucy, she gave a correct diagnosis, explained in detail everything to us. Very knowledgeable, personable and willing to work within our budget. Will take Lucy to no one else from now on. The entire staff is wonderful.

Some of the most welcoming and friendliest staff I ever seen at a veterinary clinic, they were so patient with my cat and gave him so much love and attention. Even though we walked out with not so good news they made me feel comfortable and reassured me that they will do the best that they can for my Brody, thank you so much!

Don't take your animal here. What a waste of time, they're greedy and unprofessional. Also really poor skillset.
They do not support ESA because they are afraid of litigation lol?
They wanted to put my dog under general anesthesia because they couldn't stick him for blood - however, three other vets have had no issues. When they finally did draw blood, his white little legs were dripping blood and the tech told me 'oops both band aids slipped" - why were two band aids required for one draw of blood? "he squirmed" perhaps... but I imagine it was the technique
