The Vinton Law Firm
To provide families and individuals in Colorado Springs, Monument, and the surrounding areas peace of mind by offering a Probate and Estate Planning practice that encourages open communication, provides superior service, and builds lasting relationships, all at a fair price.

I am passionate about discovering my clients' objectives, creating a plan that will meet those objectives and providing a smooth administration process upon the passing of the client. It is my goal to stand by and walk you and your family through the whole process, from start to finish. Many people think of estate planning as the process of determining who gets what when you die and who is in charge of making those distributions.
Services
Amanda Vinton Weisseg is an attorney licensed to practice in both Colorado and Texas (inactive status in Texas). She received her Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School and has a BA in Psychology and a BS in Criminal Justice from Northern Arizona University. Her areas of practice are limited to estate planning and trust and estate administration.
She graduated magna cum laude from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where she studied Political Science with a concentration in pre-law. She then volunteered for AmeriCorps for one year before going to law school. She received her Juris Doctor in 2015 from Berkeley Law School and was licensed in Colorado that year.
Krysta has been with The Vinton Law Firm since 2017, serving first as the office administrator, funding coordinator, and first point of contact for all clients. She is now our paralegal and funding coordinator. For the 7 years prior to joining the firm, she worked with another small business in Colorado Springs.
Many people think of estate planning as the process of determining who gets what when you die and who is in charge of making those distributions. Estate planning in Monument & Colorado Springs is a specialty of The Vinton Law Firm. Revocable Living Trusts and Powers of Attorney involve planning for when you are alive but incapacitated.
Probate is the legal process by which the estate of a deceased individual is distributed. It can be confusing and time consuming for those who are not familiar with the process, simply because most people don't have a lot of experience dealing with probate issues. For this reason alone, having a great Monument & Colorado Springs Probate Attorney on your side can make the probate process as straightforward and as stress-free as possible.

Last month my wife and I set up an appointment for estate planning after a respected friend enthusiastically endorsed his resent experience with the Vinton Law Firm. Amanda Vinton clearly explained our options with suggestions for the best course of action. Her knowledge of Colorado and Texas law was helpful since we have property in both states. We were able to accomplish everything we wanted and then some. We could not have been more pleased with the responsiveness and precision of our few email questions after our initial meeting. Exceptional service and everything was done quickly and at reasonable

Amanda seems nice and competent. I wouldn't really know about the quality of her legal work because she didn't accept me as a client. Unfortunately, she declined to work with me because I was previously a client of another attorney for whom she used to work. It would have been nice if she had told me about that before I drove 35 minutes to meet with her.

We worked with Amanda at the Vinton Law Firm to update our estate plan. Amanda took the time to really understand our family situation and how we wanted our estate to pass to our heirs. She took the time to point out several scenarios we hadn't considered and answered all our questions. It was a very pleasurable and educational experience. I highly recommend The Vinton Law Firm for estate planning.

I was fortunate enough to meet Amanda through our financial adviser. As she said so correctly, we plan so well for retirement but we don't tend to plan for death. Its a blunt statement to think about dying, but more important is the loved ones we are leaving behind. Amanda help us set up an estate plan that ensures our loved ones are taken care of when we're gone. And I was surprised how much peace of mind this gives me. We were able to put things in place and protect our assets in a way that you just can't do with a will. And knowing that there can be no fighting or legal challenges lets us know
