The success of a business lies in its relationships: between owners, with employees, and with buyers and suppliers. Being arrested for a crime is a nerve-wracking experience. Police and prosecutors will do anything they can to get information from you and keep you in the dark about your case. They will no doubt have a laundry list of questions for you - from where you were located at a certain time to more intimate details about your family and personal life.
A DWI or DUI is, for many people, their first and only encounter with the criminal justice system. The stakes are high in every drunk driving case, and it's not just because of the threat of jail time or harsh fines. In Minnesota, your driver's license will likely be revoked after a DWI arrest, severely limiting your mobility.

If you've heard that getting all your documents in order -- like a will and power of attorney and end-of-life issues -- is daunting, time consuming and difficult, take great heart! Paul made this the simplest, easiest thing I've accomplished in most of my life. We went from zero to complete -- all these documents entirely accomplished and done! -- with less than a total of an hour in his office. He asked us all the questions, then drew up all the papers, then we came back a couple weeks later and signed them all. Done, out the door with everything we need. Go see Paul today and put your heart at

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
Mr. Coodin is great to work with. He explains everything, very professional but in an easy going way. His humor is well received in difficult times. All of the staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. I will continue to recommend this law firm.

Paul helped me through an acrimonious dissolution process which lasted nearly 2+ years and involved 3 minor children. I went through every hoop you can imagine. In the end, Paul helped me land 50/50 joint legal/joint physical custody of all 3 children, keep me focused on resolution (and my emotions in check), and responds in a very professional and thoughtful manner. It helps that he knows many folks in Ramsey, Dakota and Washington County as well.
He is highly experienced and it shows. His client centric approach is an absolute asset and he truly does care about your outcomes. I would recommend

I was represented by Steven Coodin during my divorce a few years ago. He was an acquaintance of my ex-wife's attorney. From the very beginning, the counsel he provided was either grossly inaccurate or completely wrong. He certainly failed to protect my interests, in fact he even helped to cause problems for me with the misinformation that he provided. He did little to nothing except for charge fees, give me bad advice, and let my ex-wife's attorney rake me over the coals. "Just get it done,' was the battle cry for the divorce, regardless of the cost or loss to me. I can
