We are offering In-House Dental Savings Plan for our patients that do not have dental insurance. This unique and exclusive savings plan can save you over $315 annually with your cleaning appointments alone!. All other dental treatment performed in the office will be offered at a discounted rate of 15% off our regular fee schedule (with the exception of cosmetic treatment, such as whitening and Invisalign).

I had never been to another dentist in my entire life, until my dentist’s unfortunate retirement during the pandemic. He chose Lumos Dental to transfer his patients and I am grateful that he did. From the first conversations I had over the phone regarding my inquiries of information and scheduling my first appointment, they were always friendly and personable. They worked with me to get an appointment before the year end, which was detrimental for my insurance coverage so it worked out great. Five stars is absolutely an understatement for this business. They have truly taken “Happy Veteran’s Day” to a whole new level. A lot of business’ say that do so much for veterans and take care of us by giving discounts and such, but they definitely set the bar. The inside is immaculate and recently renovated and updated. All Covid regulations are in place and practiced. Highly recommend this business and you won’t be sorry.

Love-love-love this practice. Highly qualified, dedicated dentists and hygienists, state of the art technology, and customer service rarely seen in this day and age. I go to Dr. Jensen, who couldn’t be more skilled, gentle, and caring. She saved a “problem” tooth for me that anyone else would have given up on. Can’t say enough. Best practice I’ve ever gone to, and I’m a very discriminating not-a-spring-chicken!

An incredible place!!! They take a full hour to do cleaning and exam, ensuring the best level of care. They also do an incredible job educating you on oral hygiene and proper dental care, and I’ve never received service as great as I have here! Excellent experience. I was staying with a friend and had a dental emergency. They were able to treat me within hours. Dr You and dental assistant Miguel were exceptionally professional, respectful, patient, compassionate, and gentle. They explained clearly everything I needed to know about the procedure, and checked in frequently to find out how I was doing. Their demeanor was confident and calm.
After my procedure, the office called me twice to follow up.
I don't think I have ever had such a positive experience in a dentist's office. Thank you Levy Dental Group!

I have been a patient of Levy Dental Group for at least 16 years - and very likely much longer. My mom and younger brother are also longtime patients. I have only the best things to say about this practice, and the excellent care and treatment provided by the dentists, hygienists, and staff alike. Every cleaning has been thorough, pleasant and comfortable - and I have always felt well taken care of, and informed about my dental health. I especially recommend Peggy as a hygienist. A friend recommended Levy when I moved to New Haven, and overall I have been very pleased with my experience. Upfront, they told me that my insurance was technically out of network but that it could still be submitted - so they were candid from the beginning - but sadly I'll likely need to switch providers since the cost is too high for me.
That being said, if you can go in network here, I'd highly recommend it. The administrative staff members are very kind and efficient. They are clear and kindly answer my questions.
My main dentist has been Jessica Bogucki, who has done a great job

So let me start from the top with a brief little timeline.
1/30/18: An appointment was made for 3/8/18 (it was this far out despite many attempts at an earlier time -- a marker of a busy practice vs too few providers, probably the former)
Some time prior to m appointment: Filled out the health questionnaire and insurance information online to expedite my appointment
3/8/18: I walk into the office to be told my appointment was canceled and that multiple calls were attempted (including the morning of) and that messages were left -- I received 0 calls from the practice and 0 missed messages from

Two years ago when I moved to New Haven I took to Yelp to find a dentist. I saw that Levy was within walking distance and accepted my insurance so rather than join my fiancee at the dentist she chose I picked Levy.
Everything about Levy Dental Group was great! The office is beautifully decorated and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. I cannot say enough great things about my hygienist, Amy. She was unbelievably thorough and would talk me through everything and always do everything to ensure that I was comfortable.

As someone who put off the dentist for far too long, i had built up quite a lot of anxiety about the process. i am so glad i ended up breaking my bad dental streak with choosing this group of people. every single interaction, from a couple of phone calls, receptionists' welcomes, assessments & dental procedures, the employees here have been incredibly friendly, welcoming, professional, helpful at explaining what to expect, gentle & put me at ease, making sure i was ok with things every step of the way & allowing me to look over the X-rays to educate me on what was needed next.

I've been going to Levy Dental for five years and have had very good experiences there. The hygienists Amy and Sara are great! I like their high tech approach: digital X-rays, voice activated computer charting, text messaging for appointment reminders. When I had a filling fall out, they were able to see me that morning and get it replaced.

I have been a patient of Levy dental group for years. I have not had a cavity since I was eight years old prefer not to have x-rays . lToday I was told that unless I agree to x-rays I could no longer continue as a patient. Outrageous. By the way the cost for a cleaning today and a "oral examination" by the hygienist resulted in $183 bill.

I've been going to Levy Dental for a long time. Walking in I feel more like a member of a big family than a patient, and every procedure is carried out at the highest level and with the latest technology. Dr. John has put together an amazing organization. A lot of the staff have been there as long as I have been attending.

They are really nice, friendly, caring and knowledgeable. A very comfortable and neat office.I called and was told mistakenly, that they are "in network" for delta dental PPO. They really aren't. And they say it on the website, which I didn't read in advance.
