Cordero's & the folx who run it are as delightful as they are excellent at fixin' cars!
Both Mark & AJ at Cordero's are a rarity in the auto repair biz~
Honest, friendly, & extraordinarily good at their jobs to boot! Just brought all three of our cars to them in quik succession & each was repaired quickly & professionally & always with great kindness & friendly demeanor...
Cannot recommend 'em highly enough, use Cordero's Auto Repair to make both yer car & yerself oh-so-happy indeed!

My driver and passenger front carpets were being soaked by a leak, so I took my car to Cordero's Auto Repair. I left a deposit of $100.00 on Aug 3rd for parts the shop claimed were needed for the fix (door moldings).
I visited shop in person twice more during August, but was given a runaround every time (they had not yet even ordered the parts). Despite numerous assurances of a call back and updates during these three visits, I never received a call back for over 6 weeks.
Frustrated, I disputed the charge on Sept 17th and decided to try to fix the leak otherwise. It turns out, their

I was just looking up their address on Google and read some bad reviews sprinkled in with a many glowing ones, so I thought I would post. We have a really beat up Honda '08 minivan that all 4 of my boys learned to drive on. It has 190K miles and looks like it has twice that many. Marc has helped us over the years with many items at a much lower price than a dealership. I trust him.

I've been to Cordero's twice, first for a check engine light and then to check out the bottom of my car after I ripped it up on the highway. Both times they saw me super quickly and provided fantastic service. They also didn't charge me for simple fixes that I would have expected at least a nominal fee for, which was amazing. Definitely recommend Cordero's for anyone in the Princeton area!!

The owner Mark is always trying to sell you a service you don't need. I asked for a oil leak repair, but was told to replace the timing belt for $1000 while at it. I refused.
Mark put on the timing belt backwards during re-assembly. Noises were coming out of the engine. I went back a second time. Lots of time wasted.
Over the years, I dumped a few thousand into the shop. I've learned being a loyal customer plays against you. Never let them know they are your go-to mechanic!

Fantastic rental experience on June 7, 2019.
I had rented a large U-haul truck for furniture move out of state. Unfortunately, hours before my pickup, I became extremely sick (hospital visit).
Joe worked with me over the phone to hold my reservation, enduring multiple reschedules, and ensured I got a u-haul truck when I was recovered, and all employees were unbelievably friendly and helpful when I showed up to pick up the car.
Overall I am deeply appreciative of the experience. Thank you Joe!

Skilled, Cost-Effective, and, Honest
Mark became my go-to mechanic years ago when he was working as an employee in the shop he now owns. Now that he's bought the business from its previous owner, he's still the guy I count on to keep the older vehicles my family drives safe, on the road, and within our modest budget.
Mark is a skilled, conscientious mechanic, as is his son and the people who work for him. Unlike many other shops, Mark always gives his customers the solutions that are most cost-effective and never recommends unnecessary work, up-sells, or pads bills. On the rare occasions

THEY PUT ME BACK ON THE ROAD WITH A CAR READY TO CRASH
I came in to have my recently-bought secondhand car looked at. I knew one wheel had issues, as well as the front suspension. After looking at the car, Cordero's came back with a pretty great deal. They went to replace the front struts and springs completely, and went looking for a replacement wheel. Unfortunately, their supplier delivered the wrong wheel, and with the Holidays around the corner they wanted to get me back on the road. There was a crack in the alloy wheel, and a welder whom they brought in mentioned that he could fix it. So

We were in NJ from MA for a hockey tournament. Our Jeep Grand Cherokee was not accelerating. Cordero's was open on a Monday which was a holiday and fixed the problem the same day for a reasonable price and we made it home safely later that night. So great to find good people who you can trust that help you out even when you are so far from home. Thank you Cordero's!

This small and low key garage is located in West Windsor close to the Princeton Junction Train Station on 571/Princeton-Hightstown Road (the road from US1 through Hightstown to NJ TP Exit 8). Personally, I have always found them to be honest, fast, and very affordable (esp. considering the area). Worth driving from Princeton to get service here.
This is an independent review. I have no relationship to this business, nor to the best of my knowledge, know anyone who works there.

I had an amazing experience at Cordero's Auto Repair! The staff is extremely honest -- encouraging me to go get my emissions checked again at the DMV before they did anything because my engine light was off, even though they could have done tons of tests first and charged me to replace the parts for any code that had come up before. After passing my emissions test, they did an oil change for me and fixed my rear breaks (which I had known before hand needed to be fixed) all for a reasonable price.

Cordero's Auto is a wonderful place to take your car! We've been with Mr. Cordero for years even before he bought the company. It all started in high school when I would frequently bring my Saturn in as it needed constant repairing being that it is 23 years old. His daughter was a classmate and told me her father fixed cars so I told my dad and we went down to talk to him. We also have a Honda Civic Hybrid 2010, and a 2003 Element. Cordero's Auto (formerly Le Auto) has the same staff as before and they are extremely well equipped and educated across the board.

This is a great local shop to get your car repaired. I have been dealing with Mark for years. Often times I source my parts on Amazon.com or on a parts warehouse online and bring my parts to Mark.
He really saves me tons of money and his work is great. He is an honest mechanic and that can be really hard to come by. They give me a quick call if they notice anything that I should do, and they help me keep my 2002 BMW in great shape.
If you live in the area and are looking for a great shop this is the place. The thing I really appreciate is that if you need something specialized done and they

Awesome, honest and pleasant mechanic who proactively saved me hundreds of dollars.
I spoke with Mark a number of times about bringing in my car. Wasn't able to find the time to bring it in the first few times, but he was always super patient about scheduling an appointment.
I had a rumbling noise coming from my wheels. I thought I would have to pay roughly $1000 to fix both front wheels. Mark inspected and fixed the left one first since it was the worse of the two and wanted to retest to see if the right one would be OK and we could save me the additional $500~ on that wheel. Turned out

Best mechanic I've ever had.
As an owner of 2 cars older than 10 years each, a good, affordable mechanic that does excellent work and whom you can trust is essential. This is it. Plus they're friendly and, most importantly, have never talked down to or tried to take advantage of me because I'm female or not a car person. I've already taken both my cars here and will continue to for as long as I live in the area.

Awesome place! I brought my car in around 8am and was able to get it back by 4pm the same day.
My car had some screeching and rattling sounds coming from the engine so I brought it in. Mark was very thorough about checking my car. He called after the first drive with what he figured out was the problem and gave me an estimate. He took it for another drive to check other issues and also called me to describe what was wrong. As someone who doesn't know too much about cars, I was able to understand what I was paying for!
