Families in South OKC and Moore communities have been putting their trust in Ranchwood Veterinary Hospital since 1977. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of medicine and client service, with compassion and an emphasis on client education. It's what we call "State of the Heart Care". We are a primary care, full service veterinary hospital offering complete medical, surgical, and dental procedures for your pets.
Services
At Ranchwood Veterinary Hospital your pet's health and well-being is of the utmost importance to us. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services are designed to assist in routine preventive care, early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages, and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during their lifetime.
We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures at Ranchwood Veterinary Hospital through in-house testing and use of external laboratories. We also work closely with specialty practices when advanced diagnostic or surgical procedures are required. Our facility includes an extensive pharmacy, a surgery suite, ultrasound technology, digital x-ray capabilities, and closely supervised intensive care and hospitalization wards.
I'm one of the very few and lucky people that can actually say "I was born to do this" about my career. Looking back I realize I was a pet stylist in the making my whole life! I was the little girl who dressed up my stuffed dog-not a baby doll or Barbie. I was also the girl that would play vet or pet shop, instead of house.
Our staff at Ranchwood Veterinary Hospital is dedicated to providing your pet with a safe, loving and comfortable environment during their stay with us. Pet Resort guests are provided with multiple exercise opportunities throughout the day, comfortable bedding, twice daily feedings, and access to fresh water at all times.

Warning!! If you take your pet here they will make you leave your pet and you are unable to go inside. Make sure your pet has the Bordetella shot before dropping them off. Our dog contracted kennel cough from leaving him here. What a nightmare. Was out of state when things got really bad and had the dog with me. If your dog is not in good health or older it can be dangerous if not treated with antibiotics quickly. I felt they owed me the Vet emergency room visit fee due to their fault in this manner. Die to their lack of concern, I would not recommend this place.

Called to get refill on my dogs RX last week. Message said closed from the 10th thru the 19th. Would reopen on the 20th. It is now the 23rd. They are still not open. No one has returned my call. Obviously they haven't even checked their messages. My dog has been without medication for well over a week. I can't even get his records to go somewhere else nor can I use the online refill because RX has to be verified and no one is returning calls. They definitely don't care about your pet. Before they closed that long they didn't notify customers. They could have easily sent out a mass email or something

If I could give zero stars I would. First let me start by saying my dog was only being boarded at Ranchwood. She was not there to receive any kind of veterinary services and they did not have permission to treat my dog while she was there.
The only communication we received while she was there(for only 2 nights) was a voicemail that she had some kind of reaction to something and she was stressed out(and the dr later admitted that she didn’t have an allergic reaction to anything-she has fatty nodules-which she has had for some time). They gave her an injection and that was that- the dr said he

Took my dog Bully there because she had an accident where her right back leg was broken in pieces.
They did xrays and a check up. They told us we had three options:
1. To go to a specialist because she had her leg so broken and her column was damaged she could not walk properly and she wasn’t eating.
2. To amputate the leg and maybe she will be fine.
3. To euthanize her and save all the money and pain. When we asked if we could take her home and enjoy a last day with her, she said no. Because it will be too traumatic for us and why prolongue the inevitable.
Of course we took her to another
