Tim Wong is a Master of Chinese Massotherapy (Tui-Na). He began studying Tui-Na in the late 1960s in his native Hong Kong where he learned tai-chi and qi-gong. In the late 1980s he began his practice in London, England where eventually he had two private clinics and a massage school. His private clients have included the actors Richard E. Grant, Cate Blanchett, Saskia Reeves, and Glenn Close.
After working with human body for over 30 years, I can confirm that arthritis isn't an ailment of just the elderly. Many younger clients in their teens and 20s have been effected as well as adults in their 30s and 40s. Strangely more women seem to suffer from arthritis than men. Symptoms include joint pain on the neck, fingers, knees, hips and groin.
Master Wong's office is located in Commerce Plaza Hillcrest at the southeast corner of Hillcrest Road and LBJ Freeway (I-635). Entrance to the parking lot is off of Hillcrest Plaza Drive. Look for the digital display outside the building. His office is located on the east side of the building. Enter through the east or south entrance.
China is probably the earliest country to have developed its own medical system. In traditional Chinese Medicine there are three major clinical treatments: Herbal Medicine, Acupuncture Moxibustion, and Tui-Na Massage. It is unclear which treatment was used first. Some say the first Emperor of China, Fu xi or Ox Tamer, used a stone needle on his own body to achieve a therapeutic effect.
Tui-Na combines acupressure, clinical massage, and manipulation of the body and energy points to eliminate pains and aches, to promote the harmonious flow of energy, and to encourage natural healing.
Direct contact with the skin is essential for the Tui-Na practitioner to detect what is underneath the skin; to determine the condition of the body, its temperature, tenderness, changes in color; to test blood and Qi flow or obstruction; and to promote and transfer energy to the patient. No oils are used during treatment.

I've been seeing Master Wong weekly for over a year for treatment of arthritis and general pain. I have seen an unbelievable improvement in my condition over this time! He is extremely knowledgeable and the treatment I receive is highly personalized. He takes great pride in his work and is extremely thorough. To the reviewer below who rated him poorly, I would say a consultation is the logical first step in treatment, so that he can understand where your pains and sources of stress may be coming from. It is not a garden variety massage - it is a treatment program. He is a must-do in my

This was a really unpleasant experience for me. I was under the impression I was going to have my shoulders worked on. We agreed on $90 for an hour and he said we may go over and I thought great. He spent the majority of the time asking me questions about my job, being a single mother, the father of my child etc. he pressed on parts of my body and rubbed my neck for a total of maybe 15 minutes. Worst experience, I emailed him multiple times asking for some kind of refund. And he never got back to me. Do yourself a favor and spend your money else where unless you just want to hear him talk.

Master Wong has been treating me for arthritis and chronic pain and I feel so much better! He is an extremely professional and knowledgeable practitioner who listens and cares. He is an authority on pain relief and I am so grateful to have found him. I've seen considerable progress through consistent, ongoing treatment. It will be a component of my self-care for as long as he is practicing!

I was introducing to Master Wong by a friend who raves about his technique and how much he changes her quality of life in few sessions.
When I went for my first treatment I was in very unpleasant constant sharp pain every time I put one of my feet down. There was this shooting pain in the middle of the foot making it unpleasant to walk. First session my condition improved, second was almost completely gone and third was gone for good.
I have decided to now subscribe to regular once a week or once every two weeks massage as it’s massage and Chiro adjustment as one plus much more ( lymphatic

Have had body work, massages, rolfing, advanced rolfing, chiropractic, and many other modalities and Tim Wong is absolutely the best there is! Had knee pain for years and tried everything-nothing helped until I had my 3rd session with Tim. I am walking, not limping anymore, and actually starting to feel human again due to his extraordinary work. Same with shoulder pain for years-opted not to have surgery and so glad I listened to that inner voice. Both knee and shoulder are 95% better in just 3 sessions. He is definitely a gift to those of us who believe there are other alternatives than surgery
