Welcome to my website and to taking the first step in seeking support! Finding a therapist is a process of finding a caring and experienced professional that you connect with and whom will facilitate the kind of healing you need. I invite you to browse the information on this site to get a feel of who I am and what I offer.
Although meeting in person is the best way to decide if we are a "good fit", I also encourage you to contact me directly via email or phone to address any questions you might have. Therapy can be a source of support during a difficult time in one's life as well as an opportunity for self exploration, growth and healing.

Services
Over the years I have provided therapy to a diverse population while working in community based non-profit organizations, several public and private bay area schools, as well as in a private practice setting. I have had the pleasure of helping individuals, couples and families experience healing through therapeutic support and services, including offering outreach support to families in their homes when necessary.
Often people come into individual therapy when they are experiencing anxiety, feeling overwhelmed, struggling with depression, feeling unsatisfied in relationships or having difficulty with major life changes and transitions. As your therapist, I provide an inviting, safe, and caring place for you to share openly, without fear of judgment, to focus on examining and resolving whatever challenges you are currently facing.
As your therapist, I provide a space where your individual differences are respected and connections with each other are strengthened. In our work together you will be encouraged to share your feelings about one another in an open and honest way.
Although this can be a scary notion to consider, the benefit of having a therapist as an engaged observer in the room during these often difficult discussions, is that as your therapist, I can help identify the pattern or cycle that couples often times get stuck in.It can be challenging to find resolution when couples find themselves in this holding pattern.

It is often in our closest relationships that we experience the most joy, love, and comfort. It is in these same relationships that we may also experience the most sadness, frustration and disappointment. This full emotional experience is common in most families, (if not all). However, there are times when a family can get caught in a cycle of relating that is not helpful and can be detrimental to the whole family system.
Growing a family is a joyous life event and can also bring feelings of anxiety, identity issues and possible strains to existing relationships. As an experienced holistic psychotherapist, I help clients to celebrate this milestone while navigating through the challenges of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting issues.
