As a bay area counselor and psychotherapist, I assist clients with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship impasses, anger management, trauma, job-related stress, burnout, bereavement, conflicts about sexuality, and establishing healthy boundaries.

I utilize Jungian and existential psychotherapy, evocative dreamwork, meditation, psychosynthesis, guided imagery, the rejuvenating practices of yoga and breath awareness, and other spiritual principles and lifestyle changes to aid you in meeting your current challenges.Therapy is a process of determining pathways for change.

Dreams and the therapeutic process. Dreams provide an invaluable resource for people who suffer from depression. In my new book, Dreamwork in Holistic Psychotherapy of Depression (Routledge, 2017), I focus on dream interpretation in holistic psychotherapy of depression, linking Jung with insights derived from existential psychology.
Dreams are healing symbols of the unconscious. They make emotionally charged material accessible to consciousness quickly and safely, give focus to inner work and the therapeutic process, and provide clues about the origins of symptoms and core life issues. Dreams activate our capacity for intrapsychic and behavioral change.
Recovery from internet pornography addiction can accomplish a lot in just a few sessions. Dreamwork can aid in such work. Sometimes managed care companies send me clients for short-term therapy, and this brief story excerpted from my book Dreamwork and Self-Healing is an example of what can happen.
Psychotherapy in Berkeley California. I approach therapy as a spiritual process that can help if you are depressed, anxious, or at an impasse in your work or relationships, frequently enraged, or if you are experiencing sexual problems, grappling with alcohol or drug abuse, or suffering from the effects of trauma.

Greg has been an excellent therapist during a time of transition for me. As a therapist in training myself, he serves as a solid role model of how to hold space with warmth, compassion, boundaries, and overall humanness. I personally appreciated his skills in dreamwork & psychological astrology. If it's not your thing, then it won't be a tool that you will work with together (good attunement!), but if it is, there's an additional perspective to work from. I often felt like subtle things Greg would say would echo through my mind for days afterwards, which shows that the work can

Dr. Bogart is a wonderful Psychologist.. Trained in Jungian analysis and dream work, he was of great help to me in coping with anxiety and depression. Tools included journalling, mindfulness meditation, etc. He certainly keeps firm professional boundaries. That's a good thing, even though we al want our therapists to love us. He was directive when necessary and sensitive to subtle changes of flow during our several sessions. The space is warm and inviting.
I have recommended several friends and others to Dr Bogart and it is time for me to return to my own journey of mind and soul with Dr

Was recommended as a holistic therapist.
then found out on his web site he is an astrologer
that gave me pause but I thought well maybe he is still ok.
but then found out more.
he wont see you unless you have the bag of coins to hand him right there and then at the session this even after we told him we lost health insurance
Have dealt with many many therapists. No one has said that before
He is in it strictly for the money, not a shred of compassion
You cannot be be a good therapist with that attitude
holistic my foot.
