Michael Cavish was outrageous, interesting, friendly, energetic, exceedingly popular, and, in Norfolk, well known. He was also a restaurateur with a talent for cooking and a flair for interior design. Fellini's was Michael's baby. He wanted Fellini's to be "a place you can come when you don't want to go out to eat".
In 1991, he told reporter Sam Martinette, We're in the food business, and a lot of the establishments that have come and gone had a tendency to emphasize alcohol, whereas we emphasize fresh food and lots of flavor. We're not frightened to use garlic or spices that people will remember. Fellini's remains a family-run business faithful to Michael's vision.

I had the alfredo which was great. And I ordered the pizza dough breadsticks, probably won't get then again they taste like beignets. The bar tender asked if I would like marinara sauce with the breadsticks after I started eating them and I said sure I didn't know he was going to charge me for the marinara sauce that he offered to me. That was unprofessional to not let me know it would be extra. He also seemed all over the place like he was on something. I would love to come back and get the alfredo again and maybe try something else. I would not want to be served by that male bartender again.

I was craving a good Alfredo sauce and this place did not do me wrong. The fettuccini Alfredo was delicious. It was the perfect amount of cream, butter and cheese. Taking the bread that comes with the dish to get all the extra sauce was the best part. Service was great and the restruant was nice and clean.

First I want to say that this is a nice establishment and the food is usually tasty. Tonight though, I think things were off. I had a to-go order of the lasagna (which I’ve had before) and it did not have nearly enough sauce. I was basically eating seasoned meat and cheese. I had to scrape off the top layer of cheese just to be able to finish it because it was overwhelming. It was also burnt/hard around the edges and on the bottom. When I had their lasagna before I enjoyed it, so I was pretty bummed about this.

I wish they were open longer hours. I LOVE the food here. Their blue cheese dressing is phenomenal. They make it in house. I am a huge pasta lover and their Pasta Corleone is dear to my heart. I love the sauce. I've been here multiple times over the years and the food is always top notch. It's also a pretty chill environment.

Ordered a large portobello mushroom pizza and spinach focaccia. Everything tasted just ok. The crust on the pizza is really thin and the toppings were greasy so it made everything pretty soggy. Even the spinach focaccia was soggy and oily? Not a terrible dinner but I don't think I'd order from them again...at least not their pizza. I've had their pasta before and that's ALWAYS really good so I'm a little bummed about this one.

I had to pause from eating my food to post this review! I ordered Calamari and Ziti Fellini Pasta for takeout. First, the calamari was perfectly seasoned and very tasty. The ziti did not disappoint and I could tell it was made from scratch. The pasta sauce with sun dried tomatoes paired with the smoked tomatoes made the dish very flavorful. Large portion sizes as well, the pasta could definitely be split between two or saved for lunch the next day. Would definitely order from here again

Girlfriend announced she was taking me to dinner and the destination was a surprise. We pulled into Fellini's at 9 o'clock on Sunday night, I was starving.
We started with a basket of fried oysters that were lightly breaded and fried to perfection as were the calamari, girlfriend was surprised find out not all squid was cooked to rubber as this was flavorful and very tender. The sauce was perfect, it tasted of a dill horseradish, delicious. For an entree we split a plate of Shrimp Alfredo, along with the cream and parmigiana this had fresh mushrooms and tomatoes, gf was blown away, as

Stopped in to get a drink and wait for some food to take home. Four (4) back to back phone calls and no service from the bartender while waiting.
Half assed apology and asked if I was there for pickup. No was my replay and I'd like to order,, another phone call and I was dismissed again. When he finally turned my way, I asked "what's with the phones", and his reply was "we were told that our priorities are the phones". I asked, "phones are more important then a customer in front of you" , yes was the unfortunate reply.
So I left.

We were visiting the area and I wanted something other than seafood after four days of wonderful ocean favorites. I decided on the angel hair pasta with Marinara Sauce, which was certainly enough for two, so we boxed some for later. It came with a nice house salad, and I ordered the housemade blue cheese dressing and it was delicious! Hubby ordered a small shrimp pesto pizza which was quite generous. All in all a good choice. Staff was friendly and prices were reasonable. Unfortunately no room for dessert but they did sound very tempting. Located a little off the beaten path for the average tourist

I have been a fan since we moved here 2+ years now. But since we have our grandchildren every Friday night, and they love pizza- we have discovered that they will cook your pizza "crispy" - wow! What a revelation- I'm so sick if "doughy" pizza crust. It is by far THE best pizza in Norfolk for these grandparents and grandchildren! Hey what do you know? It's almost FRIDAY

I visited Fellini's and ordered to go. I should have taken pictures of the food, but I was so hungry by the time I got home, there was nothing left to take pictures of.
After I ordered my food, I had the option to choose if I wanted to curbside pick up or come in and pick up. I chose to come in and pick up. When I arrived, there is a small street parking section dedicated to curbside pick up which is nice and regular parking is on the side of the building.
Mask are required upon entry and staff is wearing mask. Like most restaurants, their pick up is at the bar. They seem very organized

Fellini's is apparently an institution and has been around forever -- I'm not in Norfolk all that often, so I stumbled upon it when looking for a deal that included pizza. The place itself is sort of old-school -- dark, sort of shady interior with a mafia boss kind of feel. On Tuesdays they do 1/2 off bottles of wine, so I thought I'd give them a shot when meeting a friend. We sat at the bar, and service was pretty prompt. We split a bottle of wine and a Thai Chicken Pizza. The pizza was just okay for me -- not sure I'd place it in the raves that seem to be popping up in other

What a great place to try! We decided to try some pasta and relax a bit. The food was great, a little different than what I'm used to in the West Coast, but I'd urge you to give it a try. The environment was cozy, the service was great and the food, although pricey, was great. You can split a meal or have plenty to take home.

We got an excellent pizza here today. The crust was perfectly thin, crispy, with just the right amount of char. The sauce was excellent, as were the toppings. The chunks of spicy Italian sausage were particularly a highlight. Felini's offers a wide variety of gourmet, both traditional and non-traditional pizza toppings. Think California Pizza Kitchen's pizza style, but actually executed wonderfully. They have a most reasonable wine list as well. We ordered a good CA Merlot and and an Italian Montepulciano, both retail in the $12 range, and were only $23 and $21 respectively here

Came here with a large group for work and I was a little (fashionably) late. Our waitress was good, but kept asking for my order every other minute after trying to settle in and look at the menu. Was going to order a sandwich and salad, but the sandwich I wanted didn't come in that pairing. Would be nice to have that noted on the menu already. Ended up ordering the manicotti. It was alright, not much though. Could've afforded a little more inside stuffing. Also tried the calamari, which I loved with the sauce that they had. The complimentary garlic bread was a no.
