Depending on the severity of the wear and tear on the specific car, we will consider our options with the customer: Either remove and replace the damaged part(s), or in less severe cases, will encourage the customer to save money and will machine the rotors instead of replacing them. We use the best equipment, tools, and highest quality products to protect our customers and ensure their safety.
We all are well familiar with the fact that oil plays a decisive role in the engine lubrication. But the job of the right oil is not confined to the lubrication only, it is also very important in cleaning up the engine, reducing the quantity of pollutants and generating the cooling effect inside the vehicle.
The primary function of your vehicle's steering and suspension is to keep the car suspended and stable. Any play or uncontrolled motion in these systems results in deterioration of handling and accelerated tires wear. Worn or loose components will result in your car's inability to control motion and stability.
Vinyl wraps applied by McCarthy Automotive are ideal for personal and commercial vehicle use. For personal vehicles like cars, SUVs and trucks, vinyl wraps can provide a whole new look, while protecting the paint underneath. Vinyl wraps are used to provide accents on specific areas of the vehicle, or the entire vehicle can be wrapped in a new color.

Sal is a great guy and always calls when he says he will. The shop is very clean and well organized, gives you a very easy feeling about leaving your car there.
I do wish it was open a bit later but thats only because I work far away from Burbank. Other than that it is a great place to bring your car.
He has serviced my car 3 times now, keeping my old 2000 Acura running supremely!

Highly recommended place with dependable service! Sal and his crew are fast, friendly, and professional. Each time I've taken my car to McCarthy Automotive, the repairs have been done as expected without having any problems (or headaches) after picking it up, unlike with other shops I've tried. That's why I can trust them with my car. The prices are fair, and you can be rest assured that taking your car there for maintenance won't break the bank. So glad I found Sal!

At the end of December 2018, saw a for sale ad for an '03 Mercedes SL 500, called a man named Sal, agreed to see the car the following day. Checked out the next day. Car had 151,827 miles, drove it around the block, it seemed fine. After agreeing to take it, drove to Chase bank branch, a mile away and got the money. Upon getting back, found out he didn't have the title & smog certificate, he wanted to give me a bill of sale, which I refused. Got an oil change for my car & it was the fastest, best price, & the friendliest experience I've EVER had at an automotive shop! Sal was very nice and thorough. He also noticed my back break light wasn't working & even showed me so that I could verify for myself, which I appreciated. I also had a coupon I received in the mail for the oil change but I forgot it, & he was nice enough to simply honor the price that was on there! WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND COMING HERE! I know I'll be back!

I've been taking both of my cars to Sal and George at McCarthy Automotive for years and couldn't be happier with the services they provide and the repairs they've done. I don't take my cars anywhere else--and now, they even do the oil changes every 3,000 miles. They're quick, fair, honest and reasonably priced. And they're just good people. It's been a huge relief to me to find a mechanic who can do the repairs properly and in a timely fashion and not charge an arm and a leg for it. I trust them completely.

I am so beyond words happy to have found a mechanic and mechanic shop I can trust. For years now I was going to another mechanic who would obviously try to bump prices up but kept going there because I was a "loyal" customer. My friend told me about McCarthy Automotive and told me their prices are extremely fair. I took my Volkswagen Jetta to get my brakes checked and Sal and his staff are great. Sal is a life saver!! My car was literally on its last breathe. I'm a student and I was really tight on cash and he took that into consideration. Sal was extremely helpful and took a look at my car and fixed everything up for me within a day!! All I can say is that my car is like brand new. Sal / McCarthy Automotive earned my business after my 2010 introduction and I have referred everyone I know to him.
Sal is the type of person that gives you the worst case scenario and then always comes up cheaper than his original estimate. My wife even likes him and she does not like any mechanics.
He is not the cheapest but his prices are fair and I will take fair with quality work over cheap & shoddy any day.

People wouldn't be so upset about their car problems if all auto shops were like this one!
A friend recommend me to this shop because she is related to the owner. I was reluctant to mix business and friendship, but eventually gave in. I had seen TWO other mechanics 24 hours before coming here. I left the other mechanics before even handing my keys over! The other mechanics made me feel ignored, cheated and like I wasn't taken seriously. Imagine that... mechanics not taking women seriously!! Ha. (insert sarcasm)
Sal was incredibly friendly, before he even knew who had referred me.

It's so hard to find a trustworthy mechanic in L.A. Or anywhere, really. My dad is a mechanic, but since I don't live near him anymore, I get really freaked out when I have to take my car in to a shop.
