Dr. Hickenlooper earned his BS in Zoology from BYU and then his dental degree from Temple University in 1982. Immediately after dental school, he moved to Colorado Springs and joined a practice with another dentist on the south end of town.
After two years as an Associate, he bought a practice in the central north end of town off Hancock and this is where he worked for 16 years before moving to the north east side of Colorado Springs in the spring of 2001.H. has a great deal of skill in artistically changing your smile with porcelain veneers, cosmetic bonding, crowns, bridges and implants.

A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Before coming to Rangewood Dental I had some bad experiences at another dentist. These experiences had left me with some pretty bad anxiety and kept me from going to the dentist for three years. My first visit to Rangewood Dental took away all of my dental anxiety, the entirety of the staff was very warm and welcoming and my cleaning went along without any problems at all. Recently I had a piece of my tooth break off and I called and was scheduled an appointment for that same day to come in and get it looked at. I ended up needing to get a crown on that tooth which I was pretty worried about but

I've been going to Rangewood Dental for a few years. I've always been impressed by the service and staff. Due to a recent dental emergency, I saw them go above and beyond. They scheduled me for same day appointments on three separate occasions. When they told me, "We just want you better" I believed it because of their actions. Everyone there has been so kind, helpful and professional. I highly recommend Rangewood Dental!

A family member of mine called this office today and spoke to a rude receptionist. My family member was calling to ask if this office still accepts Medicaid. The receptionist was really rude and said that they don't.
I called probably a month ago or so, and this office was taking new Medicaid patients. I understand that offices can change what insurance they accept, but there's no need to be rude to people.
Sounds like the front office staff could learn proper phone etiquette and how to speak to people properly and professionally.

I love the staff very clean office and dr. Hickenlooper is an amazing dentist in the staff is always kind and presentable on welcoming and I've referred several people here and they're always good to them and my friends and family that have come said that they really enjoy coming here and they wouldn't go anywhere else

I have been a patient for many years. Dr. Hickenlooper and his Team are wonderful. They know my anxiety, panic attacks, and are genuinely comforting. I ALWAYS walk out feeling well taken care of and I don't… feel like a chart number but someone they care about. I am a nut that doesn't shut up though, so they probably don't need my chart number!!🙌😂 Thank you for all you do!!!

Front staff was kind, assistant was easy to talk to and did a great job. Her and the dentist had a good working relationship and helped my nerves. Dentist was also very kind (never had that before) professional and easy going. Best part, they never forced me or asked me to open my mouth wider (after a dislocated jaw years ago it doesn't and is painful)
