Pineapple bread was delightful and my favorite of everything we tried. Loved the chicken feet and pork fried rice as well...honestly everything was great! Would highly recommend this dim sum place to anyone in the DMV.

Terrible customer service.
It's sad because the food is good. However, I called regarding a doordash order that was missing an item and got someone with the worst attitude ever. Instead of trying to assist, he proceeded to hang up on me, refused to give me his name, nor the managers name.
Not sure why customer service wouldn't be a priority. I've ordered from them before and just wanted to find out if rice was supposed to come with my order. Simple question that should have gotten a simple answer.
But I have no expectations of this place anymore. Sucks because I thought I had found a place that

A very tasty spot for traditional dim sum! We arrived a little late in the service on Sunday. While still very busy, they had already started running out of things around 1pm, so get their early. Has all your favorites. You may have to be patient... Service for non-cart items was a little slow.

If you're looking to introduce a friend to Dim Sum feel free to bring them here. This restaurant defines Dim Sum 101, nothing new and interesting. Just your standard dim sum with a limited selection. As someone who enjoys variety Far East is pretty low on my list of dim sum restaurants.

5-star dim sum! Pan fried chive and shrimp dumplings, turnip cake, rice noodle crepe with shrimp, fried sticky rice dumplings, sesame ball, and egg custard bun were all exceptional. Really friendly service as well. Went at opening time on Sunday and it was one of the calmest/least chaotic dim sum restaurants I’ve visited.

The best Dim Sum place in the region. Ask for the Duran pastry, Sesame rolls, and many more.

Looks like very traditional Chinese restaurant. Waiter and waitress are speaking Cantonese. The salt and pepper scallops are a bit plain to me. The dry stir fried rice noodles with beef is a bit plain too but I am ok with it. The dry stir fried string beans is very tasty. The service is very good. Plenty parking spaces. The waitress said that they are very very busy for weekends dim sum. I have to come again to try their dim sum.

So I think I might have found my new dim sum place in the DC metro area. I loved oriental east in silver spring but after it shutdown I started going to Silver Fountain. But a friend took me to Far East and the food was amazing! Just like most typical dim sum places, yes you will have to wait and no they don't take reservations. Definitely worth it!
