Noah's Ark Veterinary Clinic
After years of working in corporate-run veterinary clinics in Madison and Milwaukee, Dr. Noah Arnold became frustrated with the rigidity of the corporate culture, the cold, cookie-cutter practice of medicine, and focus on billing. He believed there was more to veterinary care than following rules and paying bills and began dreaming of a place that felt more like home than a hospital.

From humble beginnings, the clinic has grown to be home to four on-site veterinarians providing the very best care for all patients. It's the vet clinic you always wished existed. Here at The Ark, we believe in treating everyone who walks through the doors as family. We lead with compassion and empathy, and dedication to the highest quality of care.
Services
An annual wellness visit is one of the best ways to ensure your pets live a long and healthy life. Starting with your first puppy or kitten exam, a visit to The Ark is a stress-free celebration of your pets' unique makeup and needs. Our team provides a different approach to patient care by making exams a safe, warm, and comfortable experience.
We have appointments available every day for those times when immediate care is required. When necessary, we may refer you to one of the specialty hospitals in our area, Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists or Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center. We will partner with them to provide crucial history and to guarantee continuity of care.
Diagnostic visits are where we put it all together - the art and the science of veterinary medicine. Where physical exam, history, and test results, filtered through our collective years of training and experience, and coupled with wisdom, compassion, and common sense, combine to produce a diagnosis and treatment plan.
With decades of experience between us, the Docs at The Ark are skilled and ready to perform almost any surgery your pet might need. We are grateful to have the comprehensive anesthesia and surgical equipment needed to assure your pet has the safest, most relaxing, and pain-free procedure possible. We are lucky to host Dr. Laing, a board-certified veterinary surgeon, for orthopedic procedures or those surgeries beyond our skillset.
Maintaining good oral hygiene through yearly cleanings will prevent painful disease and promote maximum kissability!. Oral health is crucial to your pet's comfort and well-being and will increase their length and quality of life. The Ark has two state-of-the-art dental suites where we perform everything from routine cleanings with full mouth x-ray and Doctor exam, to complex oral surgeries.

My cat has been experiencing some behavioral and anxiety issues, which are notoriously hard to pinpoint. Despite being so busy, Dr. Banks was still able to get him in very quickly, and was very clear and transparent about what tests we were doing and why. I always feel very informed when I bring my cat in, and love the patience that everyone has with my furry friend.

After seeing Leesha’s review, I also wanted to share our experience at Noah’s Ark. We recognized the place was pricey, but thought with that would come exceptional care. We took our puppy to be spayed in August 2020. She healed well, but in February we couldn’t understand why she was bleeding.
I did some research and it looked exactly like she was in heat. I am not a vet or medical professional, so when I was told several times by our vet that her symptoms were not consistent with heat, I believed her. Proceed to 2 weeks of stress as we took our pup in for multiple tests and exams and put

This is a somewhat tough review to make. We initially went with Dr. Noah's Ark because we loved their philosophy and approach to veterinary care. It was so refreshing to have a vet that actually gets on the same level as our pets and does an exam in such a natural way. We had taken our two cats there since kittens in 2018 and had no problems. They also allowed us to take both cats in at the same time and only charge us for one office visit. We loved Dr. Noah and everything he is doing for the community. We decided, even after moving about 20-25 minutes away, that we would still make the drive out

Dr. Noah's Ark recently decided to change its operation in the name of, supposedly, taking fewer patients but offering better care (for instance, appointments are now going to be scheduled for 2 hour slots. Who would need or want to spend 2 hours at the vet is another question entirely...). Ironically, they have instead managed to accomplish the exact opposite. In accordance with this shake-up only 2 of the 4 vets are still with the clinic. And, if your pet was (by mere chance) previously seen by one of the vets who left the practice, the clinic cut you off immediately as a patient without notice

Our dog was the patient of Dr. Noah since 2016
Just recently on our last appointment we have been charged $ 45 for "light check up" that has been done outside the clinic and it was technically just scratching behind her ears
At that point I realized that prices went up tremendously and we been charged for something that we haven't been getting
But the main thing that made me to decide to change vet (specifically Dr Noah) was his idea that he presented to me personally that "we should get rid and we will soon of all Trump's supporters and Republican freaks"

Going to the vet can be scary. How much will this cost? Are they being honest? Is my puppy just another number? Going to the Ark, all of these questions were gone the moment you step inside. Amazingly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff makes you feel comfortable. I am amazed how professional and kind every single person is here at the Ark.

We took our dog there because our regular vet was closed. The staff and Dr. Noah were friendly. There were four things that I was very unhappy about. 1. Our dog was there because he had just started having difficulty with jumping into the car, onto the couch, etc. He received x-rays. I don’t know what they did but he was in such pain afterward that he could not get out of his bed for two days! I felt like they broke my dog. It was traumatizing. If only I had gone to my regular vet! Speaking of which: 2. Dr. Noah dissed my vet: St. Paul Veterinary Clinic, which I have been going to for 30 years
