Services
Dr. Cheryl Coplon was born in Birmingham, AL, but grew up in Marietta, Ga. She graduated from George Walton Comprehensive High School in Marietta and received a Bachelor of Animal Science from the University of Georgia. She has a special interest in veterinary dentistry, emergency medicine, and parasitology.
We are always looking for exceptionally talented and caring individuals who are as dedicated to the welfare and care of animals as we are. If you value teamwork, honesty, and integrity, and are willing to work hard, be coached, and do what is needed to provide the best experience possible for our clients, we want to connect!
We recommend that your pet have a complete physical exam every six months to one year to look for early signs of disease along with vaccinations and annual screening for intestinal parasites and heartworms. We emphasize affordable blood screening panels to ensure a pet's health. Remember that pets age so much faster than people!
We are pleased to provide a wide range of soft-tissue and orthopedic surgical services to our patients. These services can be simple spays and neuters to more complex orthopedic surgeries such as fractures or broken bone repair. Our doctors are skilled in performing veterinary surgeries and make every effort possible to ensure that your pet receives the best care.
Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth and therefore your pet's overall health. Unfortunately, by the age of three, 85% of pets show signs of periodontal disease. This is a painful condition, and can actually shorten their lifespan.

Without a proper dental plan, minor oral issues can progress into advanced and hard-to-treat illnesses as bacteria and infection on the teeth can enter the bloodstream and damage your pet's kidneys and heart valves.Schedule an dental exam for your pet so that we can see if there are any potential issues and come up with a treatment plan.
