Attorney Clayton D. Campbell graduated with honors from the Oak Brook College of Law in 2002. He spent the first four years of his legal career working for two Bakersfield law firms handling various civil and administrative matters. In 2007 he formed his own practice, the Campbell Law Firm, and served clients in civil and criminal trial practice.
Attorney Jesse Whitten graduated with honors from the Oak Brook College of Law in 2003. After law school he started his own practice, The Law Offices of Jesse Whitten, and earned a reputation of fighting for his clients as if they were his own family. Mr. Whitten is not only dedicated to serving his clients, but has learned how to think outside the box and come up with creative ways of achieving the desired outcome.
Sam Van Eerden's desire to become a lawyer and defend the rights of the accused stemmed from his realization that the criminal justice system that was originally designed to protect those in our society is being systematically used to abuse their rights and mistreat them.

Sam Van Eerden helped with out child custody case. He was amazing. He was very attentive. He told us right away if he could or could not help us. He was well educated and able to notify us if our requests were realistic or not. He would call us back within 24 hours of emailing him. He was aggressive in court and presented our case flawlessly. Highly recommend he was not as pricey as other attorneys we met with.

We hired Jesse for $25,000, he lied to my brother about what he was signing and my brother has to do more time than promised by Jesse. he is extremely hard to get a hold of and will not return calls. there was numerous times Jesse lied to us and just played it off as a mistakes. he did not care one bit about what he did.

Paid $4500 to have these lawyers handle a DUI case. In the beginning Mr. Campbell made me feel like he would do anything possible to take care of my case, but it became very obvious as time went on they just wanted to get this case out of the way. I had to be the one telling the lawyer to gather information for my case which he never ended up doing, all he did was read the police report and work with the D.A. to get a better deal. The outcome ended up the same as what I would’ve gotten with a public defender. Don’t waste your time or money, they handle thousands of cases so they don’t have

Sam van Eerden was still on a retainer and refused to contact me. I called to ask for the rest of the retainer back since he was not responding to me, and hadn't for a month despite me emailing him and calling multiple times. Don't waste your time here. I'm sorry my family and I trusted these people.

Sam Van Eerden is handling my child custody case. I wish I would of used this law office before my prior attorney cost me 3 times as much and didnt do ANYTHING for my case. When I called Campbell Whitten I spoke to both Jesse and Sam, after describing our very difficult double felony situation they referred me to Clayton Campbell. Clayton listened and explained the complexities of the law he told me that what we were trying to do was almost impossible but he was "cautiously optimistic" that it could be accomplished.
Clayton was always available, his secretary Kylie was very kind and helpful. We had many phone conferences. He was always sure that we were informed as to the status of the case.

Campbell Whitten saved us $25,000 and did an excellent job representing my son. My son was arrested on multiple felony charges and was being held in custody on a $250,000 bail bond. my son had never been in trouble before and the logical first step seemed to be getting him out of custody ASAP. We met with a bail bondsman who said they would require a $25,000 non-refundable fee to bail my son out, which would have been a significant financial burden on our family. Knowing that we also needed a good lawyer, I called Campbell Whitten, and asked whether it was a good idea to pay the $25,000 to bail
