Imagine what your mouth would feel like if you never brushed your teeth or went to the dentist. For many dogs and cats, this is a painful reality. Skin problems are common in dogs and cats and can be caused by hormonal disorders, allergies, infections, or parasites such as fleas and mites. These issues can be particularly difficult.

Adoption is a great alternative when deciding to add a pet to your family. It helps to reduce overpopulation challenges and gives deserving pets a second chance at life by keeping them out of shelters and off the street. We recommend a service called Get Your Pet, which helps connect people looking to adopt a pet with people looking to rehome their pets.

I rarely write reviews, and almost NEVER negative ones, but I had a truly awful experience at O'Neal Animal Hospital. I brought my dog there for the first time, and both the vet and vet tech could seem to care less about my dog's comfort and well being. They forcefully held him down on the table while he cried in discomfort, and the vet actually SMACKED his nose at one point while he was whimpering. I regret not saying something at the time, but I was just in shock at how roughly they were treating him. He was nervous at the vet before, and is truly terrified now. We went to a different, much kinder
