It's been a challenging 18 months for everyone and I hope this letter finds all of you happy and healthy! Many of you have asked, "When is Dr. Freeman Retiring?" After 38 years as a dental practitioner, now is the time for me to cut back on the amount of time I am in the office to pursue other personal passions.
As part of this plan, I have been fortunate to have found a very conscientious and caring dentist to join the practice, Dr. Michael Carley. Dr. Carley has 14 years' experience running a successful dental practice in Santa Barbara, CA and is excited to start a new chapter of his life in Oregon. He married an Oregonian, Shannon Neilson, who grew up in La Grande.

Long-time Southern California practitioner Dr. Suzanne Jensen has been practicing dentistry for 24 years and has joined our team here at Mountain and Sea Dental. Dr. Jensen moved here to Santa Barbara in 2013 to be closer to family and the beach. Patients trust her conservative approach and her gentle touch.
Like many Hood River residents, Pat Freeman is an outdoor enthusiast. Fact is, he's found solace in the great outdoors since he was a boy, growing up in Missouri. From an early age, Pat knew he loved being outside.

We have the ability to file to most all private and group insurance plans and will assist you in determining what procedures are covered by your dental plan and estimate your out of pocket portion.Please bring your insurance card and information at your first visit. We also accept assignment of benefits which means at the time of your visits, you will be asked to pay only the estimated portion that insurance is not expected to cover.

After not getting any answers from my dentist about some jaw trouble I had been having, I booked a consultation with Dr. Freeman. He took detailed information from me and proceeded not only to diagnose my pain, but spent at least an hour educating me on TMJ and problems that occur in this area. He then, with my consent, went to work creating a model of my mouth to be used to create a custom mouth guard to help correct my problem. Dr. Freeman is knowledgeable and down to earth, I wish I had found him 20 years ago
