While we're both Georgia natives (we've been together since 8th grade), we started out renovating homes in California, where we lived for 8 years after Michelle's modeling career took off. We completed a maternity and newborn shoot with James Hill Photography. We were very happy with the quality and artistic vision that went into the process.

If you are planning on doing a pregnancy photo shoot, it's best to schedule 1-2 months in advance; however, we never turn anyone away!

Fantastic session 24 hours after birth at the hospital with James Hill photography. The raw and sweet moments with our newborn baby boy were captured bedside at the hospital. Sweet moments we will forever cherish and so happy to have documented! James Hill was extremely professional, you couldn't even tell he was there.

This may very well be one of the best photography experiences I've ever had! We chose James Hill for both our maternity photos and our new born photos. Scheduling in advance was a simple process. Communication was great... you always knew what to expect and when. The studio was easy to locate and was perfect to accommodate a great deal of looks. Michelle and James worked incredibly well together. For the maternity shoot, it was mainly James. He kept everything light. Worked with you in poses, picked the right backdrop to set off your look, was patient during all wardrobe changes. Perfect.

I booked a maternity shoot for my fiance and things started out great. We had a really wonderful time taking the photographs. Unfortunately, due to some personal issues on their side, we had a difficult time getting the photos selected, edited and added to a (pricey) photobook. More than 6 months went by and though we had an assortment of digital stills, we didn't have the book, so I felt it was entirely appropriate to ask for a refund. We tried to be as understanding as possible about the extenuating circumstances on their side, but unfortunately were met with a lot of pushback and resistance

My family and enjoyed James for my maternity photoshoot! He was professional and personable. He made me feel comfortable. The studio was efficient. I can see us going back to him to capture our family and life moments again and again. I searched for weeks looking for a good photographer. I am happy I found him!

James and his wife Michelle were wonderful to work with! Their studio and props were gorgeous. Michelle is a baby whisperer - our little one wasn't sleeping like they prefer but she was able to get him to sleep some and the photos with eyes open ended up beautiful anyway. James took amazing shots and we couldn't be more excited to get the finished products displayed in our home and on social media!

James and Michelle came highly recommended to us when we did our first family portraits with them. Those first pictures were done about 7 years ago. Since then, we have done additional family pictures with them including an indoor session, an outdoor session in the Spring at the Botanical Gardens and a recent Fall outdoor session. James took headshots for me for speaking engagements as well.

Before my daughter was born, my parents purchased us a gift package from James Adam Hill Photography. Obviously, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to capture her growth from a newborn to six months to a year. James and Michelle have done a great job photographing our little girl. We hired them to take newborn pictures. They did such a great job that we decided to purchase the Bebe Collection, which includes photographs at 4, 8 and 12 months. We have really gotten to know James and Michelle as our daughter has grown. She was very fussy at the last photo shoot and they were so patient with her. They are so professional. Their prices are reasonable and the quality of the images is amazing. We will continue to use James Adam Hill Photography as our family grows. I'm so glad we found them.
