Don’t stay at Litchfield Retreat 503 - dirty, badly stained living room and master bedroom drapes - windows had leaked - wonder if mold present, sand on kitchen floor first day, dry dirt puddle under kitchen sink, no tvs worked until supposedly cable got fixed day before we left, found some live roaches - couldn’t have it sprayed safely with toddler running around, old living room furniture with some tears in leather, refrigerator had rust and permanent dirt stains on door.
One positive thing - pool was very clean and fun to use. I heard other units are beautiful. We just weren’t lucky.

I attempted to check in on a Thursday afternoon at 1:15 for a 4:00 check in. There were only 3 check ins ahead of me in line but it took more than 30 minutes before I my turn. The employees had zero sense of urgency to try and get through the growing line of people behind me. They gave me only 1 key and said it would be $50.00 if I lost it! The TV in the living room didn't work and I tried calling the front desk. The phone rang and rang and kept teleprompting me with no success for almost an hour before I gave up. I called the booking company and they tried with little success also. Finally on

This company displays a total lack of customer service skills. They charge you the weekly rate even if they don’t have a full week available to rent. Who would pay for a full week if a full week is not available?
If you let someone rent more than the week that it says you rent, then the next abbreviated week can’t cost the same because there are fewer days available! It’s your company and you can do what you want, but what I’ve seen so far is borderline unethical!

We were very disappointed in the check-in process. We were told that check-in was 4:00 pm, but could be later because of the cleaning and inspection that is needed due to COVID. It was communicated in an email that they would call when our rental was ready. We waited until 5 pm and then ended up calling a little after 5 pm. When our call was answered, we were told that our rental was ready. We wondered if we had not called how much longer it would have taken? We finally got into our rental a little after 5:30 pm. I wish this could be a zero star review. My family planned a trip to one of the properties that this group manages at Litchfield Beach before the Pandemic began. When trying to get a refund so we could delay this trip, we were told that wouldn’t be possible. We then decided to then keep the trip as planned against our better wishes and then find out that they won’t be opening the pools at the property when all other pools in the area are actually open under updated state regulations. No information was provided about this until we reached out the company the week prior to our trip in late June

We stayed at. BIlly Jack in the Rookery. Rent d through Christy (sp?). Very helpful and responsive. Easy to get a gate pass for a friend. The linens were very good quality. They came wrapped in plastic wrap and left one with a good feeling vis a vis Covid 19. House was very clean. Would definitely recommend this company.

I had my home on the long term rental program with Litchfield Real Estate they were recommended by my realtor. They were great until after I signed the contract. Maxine did the initial inspection of my home and I was told how lovely my home was and that having the brand new Stainless steel appliances was wonderful. They profit 15% of every rent check, the renter moved in on February 8th so my first check was prorated. "Understood and Acceptable". My next check was the same as my first when I called to ask why I was told Maxine would have to get back to me. It took three more tries then I was told

For my sons graduation present he wanted a beach house with a crows nest, I needed one that was dog friendly. After looking through all the photos of the different houses that they had to offer I found one. Rented it, packed up the family and proceeded on our vacation. Upon arrival, turns out there wasn't a crows nest as advertised. I brought it to there attention and there first suggestion was for me to rent a different house at a higher cost. I did tell them I was not going to pay more since this was their mistake. Didn't matter because the other house wasn't dog friendly. I had already made

As always, we had a wonderful vacation staying in the ocean front home of Joyces Place. Fishing was great, caught over 60 fish from just in front from the beach. Noticed the upgrade in a new Ice Maker, which was used allot. You can't ask for for a better Beach House and a nicer experience from the Ladies of Litchfield Realty.
