Our canine and cat veterinarians are proud to provide companion animal veterinary care to Albuquerque and Los Lunas animals. Affectionately known as Dr. Bill at our animal clinic. Dr. Bill has over 50 years of veterinary care experience. Born and raised in Texas, Dr. Bill received his DVM degree from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1968.

When you walk into the reception room of South Valley Animal Clinic you will be greeted by friendly faces here to help you with your pet's healthcare needs and questions. After being checked in, you will be shown into one of our examination rooms. Each exam room is stocked with reading materials and displays to help educate client's on their pet's health.

They only reason im giving them only 4 stars instead of 5 is because I have yet to go inside and have that experience due to COVID, but what I have experienced in my other visits, was by far the best I've had. They called and followed up on my Max a week after his visit. They send cute little reminder cards with his face on them. lol, and they are by far the cheapest I've found. Great customer service.

Appt for my medium size pet, part schnauzer and part poodle. Was quoted 20.00 for nail clipping for my pet. When received invoice was charged 35. and cents for this. Called to ask why charged when quoted 20.00 reason they gave was he was not a good boy????? They charged 15.00 over the quoted price. I have called for Dr. William left a written message for Dr. to no avail, keep getting hung up on and also receptionists/and Vet Assistant, which I will not name, have me on hold for more than 10 minutes and then have ended call????? Have tried different times, no avail. Frustration for price, no response

Jannel the manager accused me of 'wasting their time' for complaining about her new policy victimizing desperate dog owners, charging more money for 'sick' animal diagnosis. They spring the extra costs on you after waiting a month for an appointment, as you arrive to check in.. It's dispicable and it constitutes changing the contract they made and you already paid for.. Not to mention completely devaluing your time taken off from work. Acting like diagnosing a 'sick' animal justifies additional fees in an animal check up.. Excellent animal clinic! Brought our cat Mariah in for a check up and a spayed: the prices were excellent and the spay was done quickly. I called several vets in the area and this clinic had the most responsible prices. The technicians are incredibly kind and responsive: they called twice the day after Mariah's surgery to check up on her. Really enjoyed my experience with this clinic.

The wort day of my life having to say good bye to my baby boy. They had so much compassion for my furrbaby. Then I get a card in the mail, signed by the techs and veterinarians with each of them sharing there condolences for my Gomez, plus a paw print with a drawn name of my Gomez... that was the most amazing and heartwarming thing that I never expected. Thank you south valley animal clinic for the love you have shared for my lil guy. ♥️♥️♥️♥️ means the world to me.

I lost my Luna because of this place and I still have a very hard time with it. I went to this place for years and trusted them. I will never bring a dog to this place ever again. Yes there prices are great but… you honestly get what you pay for. It’s better just to drive down the street and go to DeAnza, or Rio Bravo. Any where but here. You’ll get a doctor that cares, doesn’t run unnecessary test, prescribe the wrong meds. You’ll get a dr that actually knows what there doing. Dr. Heite is the worst.

The people who work here are pure Angel's. My husky passed away in his sleep on wednesday and they helped me during the whole thing even while I was sobbing in the office. They helped me bring him in and showed… amazing care and sympathy with the everything. Then today I got a card in the mail with all of them writing something and telling me they were sorry for my lose with my Demon's paw print. I sobbed while I read it but I am so thankful for them and everything that they have done for me during this time. Great job to everyone there for just being the Angel's that you are.
