Life is full of the unexpected. When a divorce or accident happens, you need an attorney who has your back at every turn. You deserve an attorney who will understand the overwhelming emotional stress you're going through while remaining laser-focused on your legal needs and goals. The attorneys at our firm have more than two decades of experience working with family law or personal injury cases.
At Darla K. Snead, P.L. Attorney at Law, we take on a wide range of family law cases, including divorce, timesharing, parenting plans and paternity. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach to divorce, we understand that every couple is different.

Services
Darla K. Snead has been practicing law for more two decades and is admitted to practice law in both Florida and Illinois. In 2009, she opened Darla K. Snead, P.L. Attorney at Law, as a solo practice focusing on divorce and family law. In 2016, attorney Michael H. Dulin joined Darla K. Snead and the staff, providing representation in personal injury cases, basic estate planning and small-business guidance.
I have worked with Darla in multiple capacities for over 5 years, and it is always a pleasure to work with her. Her paralegal, Melissa, is extremely knowledgeable and is an integral part of her team. Darla has provided legal advice and guidance during a difficult situation. I found her to be experienced, responsive, knowledgable and honest.
No one gets married or has a child expecting to break up the family one day. No one gets married and dreams of their divorce. No one looks forward to one day possibly wondering if the child they've raised as their own is truly theirs. Yet, these circumstances devastate people across Florida every single day.
You've been hurt in a car accident caused by a careless driver or an animal attack caused by an owner with no respect for the law, and now you're facing thousands of dollars in medical bills. On top of that, you're out of work for the foreseeable future, so you don't even have a way to pay the mounting medical debt.
Whether you have decided to file for divorce or you have been injured in an auto accident, in order to make smart decisions you need to have as much information as possible. In Florida, the courts no longer address "custody", but determine parental responsibility and timesharing. The court will consider what is in the "best interests" of the child involved.

Great firm! Mrs Snead’s office was excellent with staying in touch with me about the progress with my case. It was complicated and they stayed flexible as the situation changed. They took the time to know my desired outcome and worked feverishly to reach the best outcome possible.

Attorney Darla Snead and her staff are professional and very willing to advocate for their clients. Everything was explained to me in a way I could understand it as it was my first time ever needing an attorney. The price you pay is definitely worth the experience you get. I would highly recommend them for any family law needs you may have.

I have contacted your office in regards to my divorce case and how I am now dealing with something that should have been taken care of in my divorce agreement. I was told that I would need to pay $60 for a consultation when the reason I was calling was to speak to you on a previous case that needed to be rectified. I do not feel that me having to pay a $60 consult fee, for you to fix something was fair. When I reached out via email, I was told that you never made such suggestions and you stated there was nothing else you can do. This is very unprofessional as I paid you to take care of my case

While Darla Snead has never spoken with me or represented me, she did represent someone very close to me. I was skeptical about her office when we were told this bill would be "the last one". It's just another two thousand and that will allow us to send this information. We sure paid punctually and counted on her and her staff to deliver. Even though the process was a long one we finally felt content and were pleased it was all over (or so we thought). Months later we come to find out something that was agreed to after Mrs. Snead herself recommended was not properly handled and now we owe money

We are so pleased with Attorney Darla Snead and Attorney Michael. They have worked so hard on our Auto Accident case and got us full amount on our case. And they have the most amazing communication they always call us back if they not in the office and the show so much care to their clients.
We can’t tell you enough that they work so hard for you. We are beyond pleased with what they got us on our Accident case.

Unfortunately I can not recommend this office for casing involving child support. In my experience the attorney is not knowledgeable or well versed in the laws and processes regarding child support matters.
The office proved to be both non-effective, had a lack of communication, and inefficiently did work to obtain billables. After approximately $6,000 in attorney fees I was left exactly where I began, and was requested to be dropped as a client after a request for an additional $3,000 was requested (total of approximately $9,000).
I ultimately feel the Attorney Snead neither represented my best

I would not recommend Darla Snead. She does not listen to concerns and is not readily willing to propose items to opposing counsel. I felt that I had to first fight my attorney before dealing with my wife. Darla would be good with cookie cutter cases but if she has to negotiate you would be better with someone who has more of a backbone. I voiced my opinion to her a few times and she even dismissed me from her counsel when I voiced opposition (agreed unprofessional words) to her paralegal. I again felt like I had to fight my attorney before negotiating with my wife. In the end I feel like

I hired Darla Snead to represent me in my divorce. I believe she did not prepare for my case. Did not represent my best interests at mediation, did not negotiate on my behalf and did not understand the terms agreed to at mediation. I am now divorced, but have been left to try and get all the points agreed to in mediation taken care of, which means continuing to deal with my ex wife. I was told by Darla at the beginning not to contact my ex. She told me she would take care of all this. The only problem is every call or e mail to her costs more money and nothing is getting done, so I finally said
