In 1993 Dana moved from Tarzana, California to Colorado Springs with her family owned business, General Meters Corporation. The move allowed employees to purchase their own homes for a fraction of what the San Fernando Valley allowed. Colorado Springs also offered fresh air and better schools for the employees' kids, and for General Meters Corporation it offered a chance to own its own office instead of paying high NNN rents.

The family's first purchase was 1935 Dominion Way, which housed General Meters Corporation. Dana worked as CFO for the corporation while managing the building. Over the course of 22 years the family built a portfolio of 9 buildings and 120,531 sft. With all of these properties, maintenance, leasing and property management, Dana had little time for family and work as CFO of General Meters Corporation.

I have contracted an office from Mountain Management & Real Estate for the last two years.
