Joanne earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL. She then pursued and completed her dual Specialist and Masters degrees in Counselor Education focusing on Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.

Psychotherapy is a uniquely personal service and should be about choosing the right fit for your needs, which is one of the reasons I do not take insurance. A number of therapists take insurance and many do not.
Children's Bereavement Center : provides free grief support groups for children, young adults, and adult caregivers in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. Groups are open to anyone and available in both English and Spanish. Dade Legal Services : provides legal services to low-income individuals, children, teens, women, and families in need of assistance.
