Since first establishing my practice in 2003, it has been exciting to watch the expansion within the massage therapy profession with the growing appeal for the general public to incorporate therapeutic massage services into their lives. Stay tuned as I continue to broaden my effective therapeutic concept with your total wellness now the focus. Mostly, thank you for considering KB for your bodywork needs and entrusting me with your bodywork needs.
Services
Initially servicing Houston's active community providing Sports massage and advanced bodywork options, we soon recognized another populace not necessarily identifying themselves as 'active, ' but seeking proficient therapists and adept bodywork. It was then we cultivated and incorporated our Therapeutic massage approach to expand our repertoire of services.

Extremely knowledgeable and skilled therapist. This is SO much more than a sports massage, and in fact, this treatment is an entirely different category. The work done treats fascial distortion and it actually corrects the damage done by previous injuries. I injured my back doing deadlifts and had some significant tendinitis in my elbow. Both issues have significantly improved, and I am getting back to normal after months of inhibited/weak movement. Well worth the price (and the bit of pain) of the treatment!

I ask a lot of my body - I am an avid equestrian, runner (marathons), yogi and Mom to two young ones. I’ve been going to Kinetic Bodyworks for nearly 15 years - now that I’m in Austin, I make special trips back to get “real work” done on my aching muscles. Cheryl is a step above a traditional massage. She goes to the source of the injury/pain and releases it. She is a lifetime student of the body and is always learning, growing and improving her modalities. She takes continuing education very seriously. Over the years, especially after moving to another city, I have tried various body workers

I saw Cheryl every 2-3 weeks for 90 minute sports massage sessions over the course of my training for the 2018 Houston Marathon. These sessions were an important supplementary component of my training regimen, and helped keep me strong and injury-fee in order to secure PR’s during the half marathon and 10K races I completed leading up to my goal marathon distance. However, four weeks or so before the big day, I found myself suffering from what I believed was a stress fracture in my lower leg beneath the knee. No amount of foam rolling, stretching, or ice would make the pain any better, and running

First visit was exceptional. Staff was friendly and attentive. Kat did a stellar job addressing my needs. As a dental professional with constant muscle strain, she was able to identify all the areas that required attention, even those I was unaware of. Would recommend to anyone looking for an advanced professional sports or therapeutic massage.

First time visiting was about three hours ago and hooboy - Cheryl did a number on me! It was a very "productive" session that my body totally needed after a few months of neglect and finally pulling the trigger on progressing my training regimen. I can't wait to go back for some more work and continue maintenance to keep my body loose and nimble!

I had a great session w/ Kat. I have several knee/hip issues that can impair my running, and my goal for this session was to take care of the "niggles" so I could maintain my training schedule for an upcoming half. Kat listened carefully to my priorities for the session, and focused attention on the three areas we had discussed. (I've been to several other therapists who will listen, and then seem to go off on their own agenda!) I appreciated how she explained to me the causes for different tightness patterns, and offered suggestions for me to pay attention to how I hold my body during the day

I have been going to kinetic bodyworks for a little over two years now and I love them. I usually see Dede, but I wanted to take the time to recommend both Kat and Arthur. I have seen each of them once, Arthur for a 15 minute graston technique and Kat for a 90 minute sports massage. Both of them are excellent at what they do and they helped me get rid of some nasty tension in my calves and upper back. Thanks guys!

My experience with Kinetic Bodyworks has been nothing short of awesome. Cheryl is always attentive and professional, and as of now I've tried two different massage therapists (Dede and Kat) who have both been a blessing. They've helped me through all my weird soccer injuries and pains, and have even given me information on how to rehabilitate and strengthen areas that have been a problem for me. My girlfriend has also tried this place with great results. I recommend this place to people of all walks of life.

I thoroughly enjoyed my session with Arthur. He is extremely knowledgeable about the body...tissue/muscle connectivity, behavior and how they respond.
I already feel some relief from my chronic shoulder pain!
Kinetic Bodyworks is nice and clean with private individual rooms for massages instead of curtains are partitions.
I will definitely recommend Arthur and Kinetic Bodyworks in the future!

I went to Kirsten after going to several different "regular massage" places. I told them I specifically wanted to focus on my calf muscles because they felt solid, like a rock. Those people told me they had to do a full body massage Kirsten focuses on my calf muscles. She got them feeling like butter in two sessions.
I also went to her after I pulled a muscle in my back - it hurt so much I couldn't drive and ultimately needed a muscle relaxer. She was able to get the knot from the size of a softball to about a tennis ball size.
I go here when I need a focused massage. Kirsten is

I originally went to Kinetic Bodyworks after suffering a knee injury while running which led to the need for fascia re-adjustment. Dede was very professional and did such a great job getting my leg back healthy that I decided to schedule regular appointments for deep tissue massage as part of my regular training. Unfortunately, due to my work schedule one day I needed to cancel my appointment. After an unsuccessful attempt via telephone I went online to cancel through their website which I thought I had done successfully. The next day I received a call from Dede asking if I had forgotten my

I had a painful ball of stress on my shoulder and Arthur did an amazing job to get it out! I had a deep tissue massage and he did a number of techniques to really help relieve any and all stress. He explained everything he was doing and was very professional. He works in sports medicine and really knew his stuff!! I explained what sports I play and that I was training for a half marathon and he made sure I would be ready to run my best and play a great set of tennis. He also showed me different exercises and stretches I could do to alleviate any pain in the future and to strengthen some of my weaker

I was staying with family in Houston after competing at a national level weightlifting competition. I was a walking ball of myofascial mess. Kirsten went to town focusing on my upper back and neck and I walked out of there wishing I had a yoga class to take just to enjoy the feeling of new found ease of movement.
When you go from one minute feeling like you have to fight your own body to sit cross legged to feeling up for a ballet class, you know something great just happened.

My need for a massage therapist goes beyond body work. Due to MS I have a great deal of pain. When I found Kirsten, I knew I had found the one. In addition to her focus on trouble areas. Kirsten has studied up and knows how to not only release my pain, she helps keep it at bay. So on top of the best massage therapist I've been too around the country, Kirsten is without a doubt, the best I've ever had. Thank you Kirsten

I went to Kinetic Bodyworks because of tightness I was having in my calf muscles that has likely been contributing to a plantar fasciitis problem I've been experiencing. Kirsten was friendly, professional and knowledgeable when it came to the issues I was describing. She gave me tips for additional stretches I could do to help prevent and treat my tight muscles. I would absolutely go back and would recommend Kirsten to a friend.

Both therapists know their stuff. I had one of the best massages EVER with Cheryl. She listened to my needs and really worked on the problem areas. Throughout the massage I can feel her working on all the right pressure points.
My husband had his massage with Angela right after the marathon. Same thing. She listened and focused more on a recovery massage for him. He loved it, said he can feel his legs again after the session was done.
Highly recommend these ladies!! They specialize in sports massage but they also do an array of other massages such as swedish, deep tissue, and hot stone.

As an avid triathlete and someone who recently had spinal fusion back surgery, I am very careful about who works on my back. I have gone to countless therapists and now, the only person I trust is Cheryl Francisco at Kinetic Bodyworks.
I have been seeing Cheryl since 2005, and I have also referred many of my friends to her. Cheryl understands my needs and is not your ordinary massage therapist. She knows the demands I have put on my body, and has treated me in both my muscle ailments and what is now my recovery from surgery.
I highly recommend Cheryl and her team for those of you who lead

As a result of the ergonomic nightmare that is my job, I needed a massage STAT, as in weeks ago! I really waited far too long before calling Kinetic Bodyworks to beg for an appointment for the next day. Angela was kind enough to fit me in at lunch when other chain massage places were rude, wanted a deposit and told me I'd need to wait!
Angela is just great! She listened to my complaints and spent the full hour on what really hurt. Most massages I've had have left my shoulders and back sore for several days, and by the time the soreness has worn off, I'm in pain again. No so in
