I have been a dedicated client of Amity Woods for over 15 years. I used them for vet services and lodging while on vacations. This is not a review reflecting on the vet care my pets have received over the years but on a stay my French bulldog Rudy had in June. I dropped him off on a Friday for a 5 day stay with vet care. I received a phone call on Monday morning stating he can no longer use his hind legs. They say he was kenneled alone Sunday night after no issues but when staff arrived Monday morning he could not get up. He was x-rayed and needed emergency spinal surgery to rectify a disc impeding

I love the way they treat the animals & the people! I work on the lodge side & the way we care for the dogs is just amazing! I know... A review coming from someone who works here means that I have to say good things. 1st: That's not true. 2nd: If the animals weren't cared for or treated right, then I couldn't work here. Everyone that works here has… such a passion for animals. We all want nothing but the best for them. Especially on the veterinary side. My personal favorite vet is Dr. Sambol. My dissatisfaction with Amity woods began the very first time I had contact with Dr. Sires. Gin had been attacked by a younger, stronger dog that we were fostering. Dr. Sires assessment of the situation was (in my opinion)… completely rude and dismissive! A few days later, I had to bring Gin back as the foster dog had gotten loose and attacked her again. By this time, we had quickly found another place for the foster dog to stay, but again, Dr. Sires is more concerned about

Great clinic, great doctors, but it's a bit ridiculous that you all write down credit numbers while closed to the public and say you shred it. If you were open, you'd be running the card immediately, so why can't you do that while closed, too? I've complained about this before when you all didn't run my card, which makes me wonder where did my handwritten information go and why are you still doing this?

Dr. Jones & staff take excellent care of all the FOPAS dogs & cats. So much so that after volunteering with FOPAS I switched to him as my own dogs & cat vet for the last 16 years. I would never trust anyone else the way I trust Amity Woods Animal Hospital & Dr. Jones. With my own personal cat/dogs he’s seen them from kitten/puppies & all through their lives until it was time to go to Rainbow Bridge.

My dad got to Amity and called to have our dog picked up from the car at 7:03am and then was asked to be put on hold, then was hung up on. Other cars started to pull up and the staff started to take the other cars dogs. My dad called again and asked why the other dogs were getting picked when he was the first one and was hung up on. Then some girl… inside started “crying” because my dad had a “rude tone” my dad is the nicest person I’ve ever met in my life. Sometimes TOO nice. We have always used Amity for our Pets. Very poor customer serivice. They rescheduled our appointment twice and they got it wrong; they said it was only a bath and brush. We actually requested a grooming and hair cut for our dog. We requested an "acceptable reschedule" given the circumstances and they were not willing to help. I don't recommend you take your dog to this place.

Took our dog to the doggy day care yesterday and was very unhappy about how things were handled. They had way too many dogs and some of the bigger dogs were intimidating our Kasey. Employees were indifferent. They don't have the same people employed there that were there previously when I bought the package deal. I am so disappointed! I immediately went back to get her and relieve her of a bad situation...

We have been bringing our baby girl Sasha to Amity for over 8 1/2 years and highly recommend Amity Woods! The daycare, vet and administrative personnel are wonderful. They treat your pet like it’s one of their own!! Our girl was nicknamed Queen B by daycare staff members and she is truly treated like a queen every day!!

One star is too generous. Not sure what has happened at Amity Woods, but the customer service has taken a turn for the worse. Staff has completely turned over. They are understaffed. Staff used to be super friendly and now some are down right rude. Management needs to show they care about customer service.

I regret trusting them to take care of my dog. As I dropped her off, the employee and I discussed the terms of her stay and it was all documented. I was told my dog would be placed into the daycare within the hour (as I had paid extra for). I watched for her on the live webcam all weekend and never saw her. I was horrified at pickup when I inquired about it and I was told that yes, she should have been placed into the daycare, but simply wasn't. No explanation other than that it just didn't happen. They knocked my bill down $50 and brought her out to me. I opened her bag on the spot to see that
