Services
It is far cheaper and less painful to prevent sickness than to react to crisis. We incorporate multiple technologies to ensure your pet is protected from disease, properly tagged in case they get lost, and regularly checked to ensure our care is growing with them. We want to make your forward plan today, tailored to what your pet needs.
Procedure prices are subject to change until an exam is performed. These averages are taken before tax from historical data, and do not reflect the individual nature of your pet. This list is not an exhaustive representation of services available. Our staff will discuss costs and attain consent before treatment is performed.

Oh I love the way they treat my animals and the work is spot on. Now it is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. If you love your animal then the price is no issue.
One Negative that is a positive: There so popular and booked up months. So want to get in? Book immidiatly and I'd say book 2 appointments then book again every time you pick up your animal so one appointment is never to far off another.

The staff was so gentle with my Blue dog. They we professional and caring. They sent me a paw print and a sympathy card that was so sweet. The staff went out of their way to make sure my Blue was comfortable. I have never gad such an awesome experience with a vet or any other business. My husband and I are so thankful for them and highly recommend them.

Expensive, and I couldn't just drop off a cat without"approval" from my SO (like I needed to call him at work and have him talk to them just to drop off a cat) bc last time she came he was the only one they saw and he's the only name on the account. They also have a call-in appointment thing so when you get there, they dont let you in and you have to call to let them know you're there. Well, I waited in the cold for 15min for them to get the cat. So dont come early to your appointment or you'll just be waiting. My first pet went to PetSmart and I know I should support local, but..... Not if local

Do Not take your dog here if they are really sick the staff is incompetent. After a excruciating parvo test that was performed on my lap they sent my 4 month old puppy home to die. Not knowing what's wrong they sent her home anyways and she died 1hr later they refunded the exam but that doesnt come close to my furdaughters life which I would have paid thousands of dollars for beware BEWARE if your dog is bloated and has been for days take her to the hospital never to this clinic. Bloat can be deadly

Was declined access to enter with my pet because "COVID" for an appointment to check on a recovering suture from a neuter. LITERALLY was inside the clinic for my 2 pets (who have been going since pups) along with my spouse just 2 weeks ago?! It just doesn't make sense, we don't shake hands and we wear our masks. I just want to know and see what is being done to my pet and how they are being treated. We went to Valley Vetco because we couldn't afford the pricey neutering fee from Kokopelli and now it feels like all they want is our money and don't care about our pets

Edit to add...I was not calling looking for medical advice. I was calling to see if I should bring her in to be seen. Apparently, they can't tell you that! That makes zero sense.
Just called to see if my pet should be seen in their opinion. They couldn't tell me that because "I'm not a client."
Well, if they had thought my pet needed to be seen I could have become a client and would have happily brought her in.
Obviously, they're just concerned about money and not the welfare of animals.

Kokopelli Animal clinic tried to bilk me for every penny they possibly could when I took my pet there. From a past visit I was expecting the bill to be approximately 20.00 for a simple vaccination. Suddenly I'm told my pet needs two additional shots and I'm charged $41.00 for a one minute exam of my pet! SERIOUSLY? My bill went up quite a bit at that point and it ended up at nearly $100.00 after taxes. Meanwhile, after asking me if my pet was on heart worm medication and flea and tick meds, I told them I had those at home. She then began with the pressuring to get the heart worm exam because

Dr Stowell is such a caring person. We have 4 cats and my boyfriend's mom has 1 cat and so far we have taken 3 to her. One is feral so we can't touch her and the other clinics we tried to take her to didn't understand that. They wanted us to take her in one day for the exam and then another time to get her teeth cleaned. We have to trap her and getting her into the trap is difficult. Dr Stowell did the exam in the morning and cleaned her teeth and did extractions that afternoon. She's a much happier cat now that her teeth don't hurt. We took my boyfriend's mom&apos

This is a fantastic place to take your pets! We made our initial appointment based on a friend's recommendation- since they live on the other side of town, we figured it would be pretty good. Our dog is a little timid at the vet, and both the vet and tech were wonderful with her! She got a lot of treats and love while she was there.

BEWARE I WENT BACK 3 TIMES AND ALL THEY WANTED WAS SURGERY WHEN THEY DIDNT TEST MY CAT!!!
They could have tested my cat for earmites rather than say he had allergies! my cat was shaking his head till he got a hematoma in his right ear lobe. THEY DRAINED his ears every time and gave him a shot of antibiotics then gave him steriods. For his allergies. NOT once did they test that black gunk coming out of my cats ears, they said he had allergies. so my cat suffered 3x getting ears drained and medicine he didn't need!! The vet was happy to give me estimates to do surgery.

I'm new to New Mexico. Front desk, tech, and Dr Jackson were amazing and friendly from start to finish. Both pups were seen and cared for from nose to tail. They both got individual love and attention. Dr. Jackson and her tech were attentive and kind. Both answered all my questions. Amazing clinic. The staff and drs were exactly what we needed in our home state. Thank you kokopelli animal clinic for your kind and loving hearts. My two puppies enjoyed their first vet visit in New Mexico :)

Took my Chihuahua, Friday October 11, 2019 for checkup and broken teeth. We did get blood work done. Was told they had problems getting her blood drawn. Received the diagnosis of what needs to be done to my baby, Jena. Nurse gave us the dental work ranging roughly from $300 to $800. We left, later spoke to Dr over phone about Jena's dental work. Had told Dr have only $400. She says, "i can go in, stop work at $400, leaving in some bad teeth behind. Then you can come back until i have the rest of the money" finished conversation. Had to sit back to absorb what was said,

We LOVE Dr. Stowell! She is an amazing vet and takes exceptional care of our pups. She listens intently to your concerns, gets down on the ground to interact with your pet, and takes a no-nonsense approach to treatment. We are very lucky to have her! And the clinic's hours are incredibly convenient! Getting an appointment is no problem whatsoever.
